I've made some very questionable decisions when horny, and I know when I am horny that cognitively the difference between horny me and regular me are like night and day. Calm and patient to agitated and impatient. I've been horny in public and thought to myself, dang I would absolutely accept oral sex from a random attractive person right now. Normal wouldn't mind that so much, but only if I was single. Horny me is like, there's enough of me to go around.

So if I had to ballpark it, I really think I lose like 30 IQ points or something. I get stupid. I've had sex and performed sex acts in a multitude of public places, only to be later horrified by my risque behavior.

We all were at some point, except maybe the geniuses that skipped middle school.

But no, there are studies showing loss of cognitive functions when aroused in college age males, so we know that it likely impacts males of all ages who become aroused. The extent of it is not completely known.

So that means it will vary from person to person, and some may experience greater decline in cognitive function when they're aroused than others.

If you don't, that's great. Your experience is your own, and if you don't experience it to any significant degree that's great for you. But don't try to paint others in an unflattering manner just because your experience differs from theirs.

If a person is unable to control his or her emotions, including when having sexual intercourse, this is a reason to consult a sexologist or psychiatrist. There are people who become wild like a deer during mating season, but this is a mental problem. Or we are talking about a teenager suffering from sperm toxicosis (which excludes normal, full-quality sex, because he will cum in 30 seconds).

I've definitely made my fair share of bad choices when horny. Much like the OP - I think back about public places I've had sex in and think "Damn". Thankfully no one saw us. Still true to this day though - I don't know if I get dumber, but I definitely have one thing on my mind.
