What are some good games where there's an actual transformation or corruption of one or more girls? Looking more at bimbofication and/or changes in style directly due to the MC rather than furry stuff/monster girls.

Bimbo Life Coach had a satisfying change through different porn stars as you corrupted women.
Deviant Discoveries is abandoned but has some nice corruption/bimbofication stuff in it.
Man of the House was an early example of having characters whose demeaner towards the MC goes from loathing to sexually obsessed.

Bimbofication is a topic I've been interested in for a while, I would recommend to you My Bimbo Dream, which is in an early stage and I haven't played the last version but it does have the usual elements: plastic surgery, the friend who corrupts and so and so. Perhaps a deal-breaker is that is focused on NTR (if I'm not mistaken) but aside from that it is a good game with an actual transformation of a character.
As and oddball recommendation I would suggest Butterfly Bimbo Therapy and The Dollsville, two games by the same developer in which you go corrupting girls and convincing them to be a bimbo and to get their body changed. One of them is in 3D style while the other is 2D, if you like the format and you like the concept I think they are some of the most enjoyable games on the subject.

I'll check those out. NTR doesn't really bother me all that much, I can often choose to separate myself from the MC and so in some games I don't care who is fucking the LIs.

NTR doesn't bother me either, as I said My Bimbo Dream is looking like a good quality game, but I think I'll wait for more updates and play them all at once.
That being said I don't know if you are interested but transformation content is much more abundant in comic form, there are some really good creators like SaidNuffMan of Leticia Latex who make some stories that can be right up your alley.

Try Defending Lydia Collier (Stephanie's Route within the game). Great game, great route.

Nympho Tamer by Bottomless Pit. I find it quite enjoyable, but it's not subtle or slow - full throttle, so to speak.

Soldier's Life by Pyorgara. No one writes Corruption like Pyorgara, but recently he has focused so much on the game aspects of his games, that they are less smut and more old-school strategies games. Soldier's Life is from his earlier, smuttier days.

There's an entire game site dedicated to exactly what you are looking for, but I'd have to check the rules before naming it. (Edit: I think I can say it? Apologies if incorrect. TFGamessite, for all your transformation games needs.)

And if you don't mind sissification / traps... that opens up an whole bunch of other games as well.

Thanks for the recommendations. I do enjoy the sissification ones, but I never know whether the community at large vibes with that so I didn't mention it in the OP.

Played through a large chunk of this last night. It's very clear that it's an English as a second language game, but the concept works fairly well. A little grindy but was definitely worth checking out.
