I have to say, pretty disapointing. Waiting so long and now the hole game get a rework? So it will be more than a year until it´s on the content level where it was. And also until than probaly no new content.

Reworking the game seems to have become standard practise for alot of these games. I've lost count of the amount of games that i've played that suddenly announce an unneeded rework.

This game is a classic!

Indeed, one of the still "active" oldest game. The artistic cartoon style helsp surely not to look too old fashion.

It depends on the country you live in. Some will have only one president the whole time. Perhaps you should change your country to wait for the game updates faster?

He does not care about the subs because the subs keep defending him and giving him money. They have shown that they will keep supporting him no matter what.
I have little hope for this game at this point. It wouldn't even surprise me if it takes another 3 years for the full tech update to be finished. Unless he loses a lot of support on patreon he has no reason to speed up the development. Dude makes half a mil per year. He has more than enough money to hire people to help him. If you check their progress tracker all the art is pretty much done. There is only one task left. He could easily hire 2 or 3 peolle to help him with the code and posing. He just doesn't want to.

nah last time a watched one of his live streams he complained that he tried to hire ppl but they would always leave or quit cause the work was to hard and things like that, but who knows what's really happing or if he's really trying to get help or just taking centuries to make the game he promised while making changes to story and characters and relationships and who you get to canonically be with

Don't know how the developer gets so much support though.

Damn how is this game still at a 4 star review? there isn't a single positive statement about the update on any site, which isn't surprising when you cut all the content it can't even be called an update. Though reading through the comments makes me curious about the next update since many people won't stick around if they release another shit update hell there's probably a few who won't just because of this one. There is also the fact of many devs making multiple good games within the same time period as this one update so many people claim this dev just sat on their ass until people started getting fed up then quickly made content to release and if any part of that is true the next update might be a pretty big one though my hopes aren't up.

The thing is, even if the next update is a big one, it will still only to add back content that was already present in the previous version, which is, at best, a net neutral update, or more likely a net negative update, since I'm pretty sure the previous content will be added piece by piece.
