not really. just have to post something worth while in the lurker thread. the back readers can like your posts alot.
you dont have to be in full discussions and write essays, but its just about being active and giving proper feedback to reviews, thoughts, conversations

If you really want to, you can accumulate LC lk of Member+ status in 4 days or so. So it's quite an achievable task.
