Considering downloading this, it looks interesting but I've seen so many folk complain about it. What exactly is the issue is it badly written or does it look terrible. As far as I can tell it's a bit of a slow burn which I don't mind but is there anything I should avoid it for? Thanks.

The story and renders are top notch, the problem most people have with this game is it suffers from the Milfy City syndrome, it's been in development for years. and same as with Milfy City, the updates became smaller and the time between them longer.
Long story short, the dev is milking it by now.

I think a major part of the problem is also the diverging storylines with too many side characters, sending Dylan to boarding school or not makes for so many scenes and lines of dialogue having to be made or written double.
Devs should never forget the KISS principle : keep it simple, stupid.

Updates are shorts and they don't come out often. Teasing is maybe the best part of the games but at some point ist has to end and get into some action
