Wish I'd seen this before depositing coins 5 minutes ago. Looked like I got a collection last night at 12:09 am when I logged today and thought that was when the auto-collect happened, but that may have been when I deposited my undeposited coins ahead of the Midnight UTC-8 timeframe - I'm at UTC-6. What is confusing is that when you make a deposit, it calls it "last collection".
Made a similar mistake. Been a few days since I've messed with it so I deposited before collecting and lost the interest.

Just noticed mine had a "collect interest" button again. That sucks. I think I lost out on about 2 days. At least it's 2% now. 1% wasn't adding up very fast.
Yeah it sucks that a lot of us lost 2 days worth of interest from that failed experiment but it will break even over then next couple of days so whatever.

Still hoping they get it fixed given time. Don't care if it takes days or weeks if it gets done.

Just see it as if the 2% started a bit later. ;)

Honestly with the reasons behind the coins in the first place auto interest was probably a bad idea. Forcing people to log in at least to collect the interest works as a pseudo login reward and doesn't let bots come in and scam the system by just waiting it out. This way is safer for the site and I would rather have the site continue to exist over a minor QOL thing.

THIS IS LIKE STANDING IN LINE AT THE BANK :( SHOULD BE AUTO COLLECT. But hey! Im here!

Not convinced it would be an issue like that. They'd have to do a decent amount of grinding to begin with or it would take many months to get anywhere.

What would work about as well and not be annoying is if you could log in any time of day and collect and not have to try to time it constantly.

How would collect at any time of the day work on a web site to covers all timezones?
They pretty much have to wait 24h to ensure you waited a day in whichever timezone you're in.

The only improvement I wish they'd do is allow to collect every 23h instead, it wouldn't defeat the purpose of the daily interests but would prevent the drifting that happens if you cannot collect at precisely the same time every day.
When the delay is 24h, you're bound to get a bit later sometimes and it will push it further and further until you can't get it before the next day.

Several ways you could do it. Simplest might be to have it so if you select it 12+ hours after last interest collection it'll auto collect when the 24 hours is up. Or you could simply have a fixed point that it collects daily and you're just confirming you've logged in. A mix between the auto collection they tried and a basic log in bonus. Tons of other ways to do it too. Probably would be easier to explain if I wasn't already half asleep.

I like this idea, maybe even push it to 22h. The purpose after all is to get logins every day and it with this you wouldnt have to push your limits of when u have time to be here.

Also i think it would be great to have some automatic interest like if u dont log in and collect it for 32 hours u get at least like 0.5% or something like that.

Either that or it's a fixed time for everybody.

It won't change the fact that the collection time is pushed further and further back, even at 23h you will have reached the end of your day eventually and you'll miss the next collection anyways.
It just prolongs the same outcome.

It's a standard plug-in they are using, to change it that way, they'd need somone who codes it.
The log in confirmation won't work. User abused the login bonus with VPNs and that's why it's gone.

No it's not. Imagine you usually claim your interest within 1h of it being available.

One day it's available at 10pm, you claim it between 10pm and 11pm. If it was 11pm, the next day will be between 11pm and midnight. Every time you don't get it right on time pushes the time at which it is available to that latest time.

But if it's a 23h delay, it's available at 10pm, even if you claim it at 11pm, the next day it's available again at 10pm and you'll claim it between 10pm and 11pm, so it will never be pushed to later.
Even if you miss it by 2h, you can shift the window back to 10pm within two days, while with 24h, every minute you don't claim it adds to the shift for future days.

Won't break even unless they do the next two day or two at 4% - the 42 coins I should have collected last night, and the 43 coins I should have collected tonight after the prior night's collection rounded me up enough for one more coin, are permanently lost. And I'm now back to an inconvenient collection time, so I might lose more by letting it go another 18 hours to let it reset to a better time for me.

Sorry, yes. I did a brainfart. I meant it backwards.
This only works if you somewhat keep your collection schedule. But as soon as the 23 is over, people will hit collect, moving thr timer forward, until they miss the "perfect" time on the other end, because it's too early.
And then people will complain that they have to log in even earlier to collect.
So it won't change much, because most are greedy and won't wait for it. :(

I apologize in advance for my bad English, and I will try my best to give an idea and make sense.
Why dont apply a cutting time, all days at the same time give the interest and the user have some time after to retrive it, 5 hours, 10 hours, 1 hour, I dont know how much you decide. If you dont get the coins in the given time you lose them. You can establish the time using the hour when the user put the coins in the bank or what ever you like to establish, but using the server time not regions.

Well in simple words you have every day the same gap of time to collect the coins example: (every day from 5pm to 8pm) if u feel benevolent you can let the user to chose the time when they want to pick up the coins. But some one will want to have the option to change it, if there is, you lose the next day coins. If u dont want to bother with a change option just tell them to choose wisely o let them choose once every month.

Something like that, or maybe some one already post this idea Im just to lazy to read all comments.

IF YOU DON'T KNOW ALREADY, YOU CAN PUT ALL OF YOUR LC IN THE "BANK"
IT'S CURRENTLY AT A BOOSTED 2% (from 1%) DAILY COMPOUNDING INTEREST RATE
ALSO UNANNOUNCED UPDATE, BUT IT AUTO COLLECTS AT MIDNIGHT OF TIMEZONE UTC-8
AUTO COLLECT HAS BEEN DISABLED! YOU MUST MANUALLY COLLECT EVERY 24 HOURS AGAIN

You must be registered to see attachments

Although it may not seem like a lot if you only have 100 coins since you will only get 2 coins the first few days, but if you keep depositing into it you will slowly start to gain tons.
For example instead of purchasing Prestige 1 as soon as you have enough LC, if you wait 1 month and save up the 2500 LC in your bank you will earn 2120 free LC.

If you are still short on LC I would recommend trying to keep slowly farming some more, but once you hit your goal for whatever role you wanted to purchase, it may be wiser to just keep farming and letting the interest accumulate.
The LC feature is still fairly new so I would not be surprised if this feature gets heavily changed or outright removed so use it while you can.
To understand how broken this is once a single user puts 100,000 LC in the bank they will generate another 85,000 LC the first month and of course one more month of saving would earn another 150,000. This would in all honesty make it so the 750 LC to get member+ look like nothing as a single rich user could ruin the entire "market" and damn near everyone could buy Prestige 1 and 2 and the entire site would light up like a rainbow with all the neon profiles.

Leave a like if this helped please :)
Thanks for the detailed information
