It would be a cool sci-fi story to create a parody of Star Trek, maybe next generation. The "exploration" of unknown races and women would have a completely different approach.

There is a game that's based on Star Trek. I just can't get on it's name at the moment...

There are decent assets for sure but not as much as the everyday life assets.

The problem with scifi adult games it the wrong focus. Devs always think, just because they make an adult game, it has to have more sex then anything else. But scifi is, or at least should be more complex then flying to a planet, fucking the crew during travel and then continue fucking aliens on the planet. Sure, in moderation its okay, but if the fuckfest becomes the main focus the scifi loses everything besides the visual setting of a ship instead of a school and some more or less strange planets instead of a town.
A good Scifi game is focused on scifi and sex is the bonus most of the good scifi movies and series avoided to get the broadcasting hours they needed to reach their main target groups. Take TOS for example, kirk was a womanizer and the producers stopped at kissing, if a dev would make an adult game where the sex scenes would be shown, maybe a few more if he recruits a harem, it would still be TOS, just the XXX version, but if the dev removes lots of the stuff between those sex scenes its not TOS or scifi anymore, its just XXX and thats not enough for a scifi setting.

I have a few terabyte, but i dont download any "no sexual content" games. When i play VN i want more. If i want to play games without sex i tend to run around and slaughter guys, solve quests or conquer lands/worlds/galaxys without reading for hours. Okay, i have a few guro games without sex. But in general i want my adult games for an adult audience, not some picture books for kids.
However, the scifi games i played were always almost "sexual content only" and killed the scifi part. I really hope auriga 9 gets updated soon.

That is soft Sci Fi. Hard science fiction is realistic that does not have fantasy elements such as warp speed.

Regardless I want more sci-fi of any kind. Spacecorps and Eternum are awesome. Even bad science fiction can have interesting ideas and elements that can make you think.

If the sex is the sole driving factor it is no longer a sci-fi game. It's a porn game with a sci-fi backdrop. Don't get me wrong, I love me some porn, but if I'm JUST looking for porn, I'm not overly concerned with the setting. If I'm in the mood for some sci-fi game-play on top of my porn, then the setting and story take the front seat, the porn is just the reward for making the right choices.
