A new important update has been posted covering the Donation Rewards bug, the reset of incorrect Donation and Platinum credits, the upcoming reclaim system for previous tracked donations, and the new Vault freeze/maintenance behavior. Looking for the full animations from Nizipaco! Their linktree is here:

as per link thingy, nizupacokyu is an independent artist which has chosen the method of invite only paywall to access of their content. Aside from pirating which involves on relying on others to purchase the content then share it through torrents, the only way to obtain the content is to subscribe/purchase it by subscriber means listed on their linktree.

So, looooong story short, since about 2014, indie artists within industry have gone route of coin-op metering their content to followers/subscribers throufh several platforms. Some platforms such as DL Site, have taken means to prevent against piracy through DRM solutions.

While also independents operating in this way, have been able to rely on the fact of their own obscurity.Whether new to industry or too niche, fact is most wont file share works via torrent as there is not enough of a fanbase for it. That coupled from phenomenon of "data hoarding/treasuring". For those who subscribe as a serious otaku-ism, the fact that they paid for the media makes it treasured/special to them in one form or another. Due to such, the most typical simps will refuse to pirate distro the paycontent out of entitlement and principle.

This isn't to say pirate torrents or copies don't or won't exist, just that due to this phenomena, until a mass scale followimg is established to enough of an extent, it is highly unlikely that pirate copies would be made.

I tried hinting at this concept in my reply to Escape's req for Rainbowbrite's content but it appears I may have to be abit more blunt in this fashion.

Upside, if the content is prolific enough, pirated torrents are eventually sure to crop up. Until then, if you want content from artists such as this whom have chosen this distro method, someone will first have to buy that content, to then fileshare it through the internet. There are non-direct approach methods to this and many but in the end someone must buy it with intent to share it. Whicg oddly enough will happen naturally eventually, but if you wish to expidite that process, some pro-activity must be taken.

The real question is, going forward how do we as independent producers of media choose to share our works? Do we take this multi-platform coin-op tactic of monthly subscription +/- pay per view/pay per content access, to distribute our artwork at all? Or instead, do we host a "buy me a coffee" donation blog while issuing our content for free. In the latter, relying on the generosity of our communuty and followers for support in developing our media? How can both models be improved? What might we do to better facilitate both ethically and effectively our own suport to deliver content while at same time getting what we feel as developers is appropriate value for the compensation of our works?

These are questions we must solve as for the moment, well, the endless outcry for pirating paywall content such as this, yet the fact that such outcries come from the urge of not being the "direct pirating party" shows how curious our ethics can be in this. While at sametime, the sheer ineffectiveness of noobs to industry failing to obtain any crowd sourcing...

Better methods and solutions to these questions for both routes must soon exist.

Apologies on the TLDR but this sort of thing in the inefficiency of both routes has existed for almost 10 years now, with no serious effort to address these questions or challenge that status quo. Hence the blunt TLDR.

Thanks for your time, hope you find the art you are looking for, but with niche of this artist and how new they are, torrents of their content aren't that likely yet.

Yeah, I figured it was a bit of a long shot, but it doesn't hurt to try. If I do finally find a source or some media of this artist, I'll do my best to come back here and share it! Thanks for your time and detailed explanation.

no problem. Don't get discouraged in your search by any means. The main point is that essentially, unless you want to buy the content, from devs like this that have chosen the "onlyfans+insta/snapchat" model of distrobution of their works, you either have to pirate it, or wait for others to pirate & "leak" said content.

Rest of TLDR is like, as both devs and otaku/doujinshi folk, how do we want to help reform and support the industry? For bout past 10 years, this "onlyfans+insta/snap" model has percieviered as status quo, because largely, it is a highly controllable business model. Especially with things like DRM and proprietary license key application views for said content, then there's NFTs. However on same front, the avenues to "support/fund" indie artists who are just starting out, have not really much evolved since kickstarter/gofundme/itch io's launches. Which is somewhat in part deliberate. TLDR short there, industry doesn't want profitable and controllable "upstart routes" to change as industry does not want the competition.

But more to the point, for the end user it does at the moment pose quite the ethical dihlemma. Do we support the artists who are trying to pay per view coin-op their content? Or do we support pirates? And what does choosing one over the other make us, in context of our respect and admiration for the artwork itself?

I think such a conversation should probably be in another thread lol. I personally support certain artists while pirating others. I don't think the why or why not matters either. They are just excuses we create to justify our actions after the fact lol.
