Ok, i was in the good path (grooming Emmi, not forcing her and the non-murder path with Steph) but after the hint, the 2 questions did not appear. Repeated several times, but always the same result. Anyone with the same issue?

There's a lot of blank screens. Go into preferences and click the "Unseen Text" under the Skip settings, then at the blank screens hold CTRL (dunno what the equivalent on Mac/Android would be) for about 12 seconds.

I thought 0.1 was one of the most fucking brilliant chapters of a VN I have seen in the six years I have been playing them. But I definitely agree with you about 0.2. Both endings have that fucking demonic teddy bear and it just takes a fantastic psychological mindfuck of a game and derails it with supernatural evil spirits and shit. I really liked how grounded in something like reality the game initially seemed, whether on the grooming or force path. The teddy bear/Hi-Jo shit I hope is just a hiccup or a dream (as I assume the murder/suicide is) and that the game gets back on track with 0.3 after Deaufosse has had time to clear his head with playing Starfield and deving 0.3 of Burned.

What's supernatural about it? Dude has two massive tumours in his brain. Hallucination is hardly a weird side effect given all the other problems with his noggin. And given both paths end with him killing his whole family and himself, and yet there is apparently a .3 coming, I'm pretty sure what happens at the end of .2 is a hallucination.

I agree. Considering a lot of the story is all about dealing with his tumors and side effects they have. Manifestation of those side effects is up to an individual really.
Granted, MC's are really damn fucked up.
Only thing that is really boner killing about those hallucinations is them happening with Emmie sex scene :/

Now granted I have not seen the secret scene because I, like many people, am having trouble accessing it normally despite having a "pure" playthrough. What makes me think Deaufosse is going down that road is the conversation between the teddy bear and "Hi-Jo" that takes place after the "suicide" of the MC and of which no impression is given that he is witnessing these events. The two entities speak as if they are on opposite sides of some sort of conflict or almost a game (good vs. evil or order vs. chaos or creation/growth vs. entropy). I hope you're right and this is just a hallucination and Deaufosse drops the conflict/game angle entirely. And doesn't fuck up an otherwise excellent pair of sex scenes with such a massive dousing of nightmare fuel (the situations felt fucked up enough in 0.1 even on the grooming path that the extra squick was just overkill).

Your mileage may vary (and obviously does, here) but I don't consider her ugly. She looks like a reasonably cute real girl, not like the typical DAZ supermodels. Sure, not every render shows her at her best (if you've ever taken candid photos, there are plenty of dorky expressions to be found when people are not posing). In some way, her not being a "perfect 10 jailbait" enhances the realism of the VN. Most girls in these games are so goddamned gorgeous that you think "yeah, even if I were her dad or brother I might actually fuck her given the opportunity (or at least briefly consider it and be ashamed of myself) because she is just that fucking hot!" whereas with this game, Emmie being more like a 7/10 actually kind of sells her dad's diseased fixation on her as something abnormal; his addled mind wants to fuck her not because she is stunningly beautiful, but because she is his daughter.

My guess, the Dev just can't work properly with the renders. Because some of the models that are normally cute in other situations are plain ugly. In his other game, the girls are kinda OK, but they grin ear to ear all the time, which is weird. After all, Emmie is a champion of ugliness among all the LIs in AVNs that I've played so far, I agree.

The thing is that I played both games of dev (and both are gems, Deaufosse you are so good) and all the characters there turned out great, with every emotion. I didn't see anything I didn't like. And here the eldest daughter didn't turn out at all. At first I thought it was the main character's wife before she was introduced. Of course it's all up to the individual, some people liked it. I'm not judging them.

As for the discussion above: Emmie isn't ugly, you probably just haven't seen a real girl in months and have forgotten not everyone looks like a supermodel. Go outside more.
