I agree that there's a lot of incredibly annoying protagonists, from spineless to indecisive to hypocritical and more. I always felt the whole point of a protagonist was having someone to relate to to draw you in but so many nowadays are unlikable af, I wonder if it's just self insert behavior causing it or what. I suppose it's all subjective but still

On a sidenote, i hate 5-10 minute updates as well as sex only updates. I expect some story progress from an update. I guess i dont need to point it out, but i really hate remaster/past changes in the middle of the game.

A personal one of mine that some others won't agree with: Games that appear to be harem games that don't have a harem ending.

A more commonly agreed one: games with really really bad Engrish. To the point where a lot of sentences make zero sense. We have DeepL and a lot of other good translators that can help non-english speakers out now. I wish they'd use them.

Harem games with too many choices. I feel like when there's too much, it feels hollow, where none of the characters have depth. WVM is probably the biggest offender of this where the creator just keeps throwing new women at us each update, where what could have been a game with great emotional depth has since turned into a creepy cult game.

No idea if what you choose affects the story same lines said same expression same animation no matter what choice you make

Version number hell you can no longer get an idea of game progress by looking on the Version number if never played that game b4
