"Area 69" has been a game I'm checking out. I don't think it's new but definitely still being worked on. Has many goofy moments but deals with some fantasy elements. Werewolves/Vampires/Ghost/Demons/etc.

But im the bad guy sounds up your alley. It is definitely lacking content though.

Maybe one that is based on a movie or book. I know there are several games like this but none of the ones out there convince me at all.
Now I think of a game based on Dune that uses the renpy engine, you have enough story to tell and it doesn't necessarily have to be the same as the novel.

What happened to this game?
Despite being so short, it was one of my first VN games, and it was because of it and others that I liked that kind of game. That was years ago.
Too bad it won't be continued, so there are other games that had enough potential to be great.
In my opinion, it was a diamond in the rough.
