I call them, the "Games with people who have birth defects.." I suspect that most of the game devs in these types of vns are man-boys who have never had real sex before. I admire all the game devs a lot. They need writing skills, patience, project management skills, coding skills, art skills, photography skills, marketing skills, etc. One skill they also need is, in my never so humble opinion, is to be able to attract, court, mate with, and keep for a time, a real woman. Why? Because those that do have that skill will have enough experience to put content in their VNs worth the time and energy it takes to create a VN.

When I first saw genre, I thought like fantasy, sci-fi, etc. For that, I'll say post-apocalyptic. Only because they disappear after a few updates. It's a smaller selection, but it's still frustrating.
