discussion Games that get too much hate?

LoML does seem to get an odd amount of hate, I kinda like the models. My one complaint with it is sometimes feels a bit rambly and they could use some editing

The last chapter was the first one where I kept catching myself thinking: "Naughtyroad should have had an editor here"
Up until then the rambling was just pulled back in time, so, good writing skills. ( And he is without doubt a very skilled writer/storyteller)
So, yes, agree on the last chapter.

I've seen people complain about the character designs. I think they're great.

The older one is gorgeous.

UFO check it out if you haven't. The developer added futa, then did a poll asking for feedback, and basically ignored everyone.

Now the kicker here was it was supposed to be avoidable but no you are forced to watch as that big futa cock fucks your ass.

Oh i remember that one! Clicked through the game only to be not able to prevent the blonde (?) one from destroying the protagonist's ass with a 10 inch schlong.

I've seen people complain about the character designs. I think they're great.

I grabbed it because of the models, they were different so they stood out. Plus you gotta love a nice short pear shape.

I don't go into the threads and hate on it, but personally it's just a bummer in my opinion. I'll be.. in the middle of something, and the MC will talk about how they can't breathe properly and they have a pain in their chest during the scenes. All the more power to people who are into that kind of thing but it really doesn't butter my biscuit, so to speak.

What gets hate or love tends to vary a lot from community to community. Some trends I've seen : NTR, feminization, femdom, games with artstyle outside "the norm" (Light of my Life got mentioned a few times already, they're hardly the only one), slow-burn games - especially in early development when by definition there's not gonna be a lot of sex scenes.

So, yes, agree on the last chapter.

I feel the same way. He could have cut about a third of the dialogue and delivered the same story. Maybe that could have cut the development time by a few months. 18 months for a huge update is fine, but not when a big chunk of that update felt redundant.

Pretty much anything with a slow dev cycle. I can understand a bit of entitlement if you are contributing money for development, but there are loads of people grabbing games for free on F95, who whinge endlessly about how long the free games are taking to develop. There is no shortage of stuff, move on and try something else, seriously.

Depending on what you call too much, "milfy city". Some of that is definitely deserved, but it's also a good story what is there.
