Many games and VNs are set in a school environment, others in a typical family with siblings. There are end-time scenarios and stories in outer space and, of course, fantasy worlds. The games are often mediocre to bad, although there are exceptions in every area.

Has an area in which a story could be set not yet been realized? I can hardly think of anything, maybe a cruise ship or a research station at the North Pole ;-)

To create something new, we would need to be really crazy, These devs around here... these guys are a bunch of pervs, they already thought almost anything possible, but I never saw some game where you are trapped in a plane, for example, or in the subterranean while excavating to find antiquity, etc.
Damn, must be hard to a new dev to not be too cliché, Now I understand why we only have incest in the family house, all the good ideas are already taken

Is there a league of legends sort of scenery? That art and world are great.

Something that re-defines the ruleset for the whole universe. Even the more excotic ideas tend to still somehow be bound by tropes, like fantasy needing to have kings and elves etc. Just turn everything on its head.
