the dev has frequently made clear of his thoughts on loli content and seems to be doing his damndest to never use them as anything more than content fillers

None of the daughters are really loli though? Like, Olivia is probably the closest in physique but it's been made clear she's just short (and also 18). And that's basically so there can be lewd content with her. Probably the closest comparison from My New Family is Alice (Lucy is shorter but Alice has the more typically loli-like body) and you absolutely have sex with her in that game.

Not quite. Dev has been very clear that there will be no lewd content with Olivia specifically, because she 'looks and acts' too young for him to be comfortable with it. The other daughters will have lewd content. Yes, it's silly to have her be 18 if there won't be lewds with her, but that's where we are.

Damn, didn't know an AVN could offend people so badly. You all act like one character you can't romance is the end of the world, and their canon ages are set. Not every dev wants underage love interests, regardless of how they conform to your own ideals of what is or isn't lolicon.

Calm down people, don't start attacking devs for their choices (I don't care if the dev is here or not). Go find a different game.

I'm all for slow burns, but this game takes it to an extreme that becomes hard to endure. Conversations in this game drag on for what feels like an eternity, making me question if time itself has slowed down. It's like watching paint dry, but with words instead of colors. With new content released close to only once a year, makes it seem like it will take a decade to reach a satisfying conclusion.

Adding to the disappointment, the choices are painfully basic, reducing the gameplay to a mere kinetic novel with options like "talk to her" or "don't talk to her."

Sure, the game has some pretty renders and smooth animations, but when it comes to storytelling, updates, and decision-making, it falls flat on its face. It's a slow burn that's more likely to leave you feeling burned out than captivated.

This is a story heavy visual novel. If you don't like to read a lot, this is not the game for you. The game will always be more story than lewds, so if you want to go for a quick wank, this game is also
not for you. This is the first time I'm making a game using DAZ3D so sorry if some of the renders are a little rough. Also, all the characters you will meet in the game will eventually be lewdable.

It seems that you can't have the best of both worlds. It's either a kinetic novel or a game with more choices. Personally, this hybrid approach of having only one choice per episode doesn't make sense to me. However, I acknowledge that I didn't read the developer notes, so it's partly my responsibility as well.

This is the toughest post I ever had to make and I still can't believe this shit is happening right now. First, let me copy what I already posted on discord on Thursday...

Okay, I know that was kinda scary and super vague, and even worse, it was technically wrong ( not blackmailed, I'm getting framed ). I didn't want to worry anyone, but I wanted to keep you guys informed in case it will take longer than it did in the end. So I have some bad news, some super bad news and some neutral news.

I'm getting framed. Someone is framing me and now I'm getting accused of being some kind of crypto scammer. Everyone that knows me knows that I hate crypto, but apparently whatever evidence was provided, was enough. I got raided by the cops. They confiscated all my pcs and my phone. They took all devices that I had for backups at my place. That is the super bad news.

I'm super crippled in my ability to work atm. For some reason they didn't notice ( or didn't care ) about a Laptop I had ( it was still in its packaging behind other packages ). I have a backup copy of Honey Select on my own server, which I could download, and regarding the script I was just able to download the latest MNF beta and continue working there. So, I should be able to continue work on MNF without any big issues ( except the laptop handicap, I guess ).

Here comes the bad part, though: My New Memories and my DAZ3D assets. They are on my pcs and the external ssds I had. And they are with the cops right now. I have an appointment with an lawyer tomorrow, since this is some serious shit. I will tell him that I need these things for work and that I want them back. In germany, the cops usually just mirror your hard drives and then work with those copies. So I hope that this can be solved sooner than later, but I don't have a timeframe ( or know if I'll get anything back at all ). I only have the assets for Bethany and Sabrina in my mega cloud, since my daz3d in general is over 1TB big. So I have no idea when I can continue work on MNM, since this stuff is so fresh and I didn't talk to my lawyer yet, everything is kinda in the open.

I made this post on thursday on Discord, once I got access to my phone number again so I could log into my accounts. The appointment with the lawyer was... Okay, I guess. He told me that he will ask the police to check the external ssds ( that contain my daz3d files ) first, and if they are clean ( which they are ), hand them back out to me again. The shit news is that he doesn't have a timeframe for it, but he told me right away "I can't get your hopes up that it will be solved super fast". He has to request access to the case files, which might be fast or not fast.

So, what's the plan now? Honestly, I have no idea. I already put a shitton of effort into Chapter 4 and now I have no idea when I can get back to working on MNM. These investigations can take weeks or even months... Which makes me insane. I'm literally going insane because this is my life, working on these games for the last four years has been my life, and now it's being threatened with some bullshit that I didn't do. I know the cops have to investigate but...I don't know. This is way too much for my mental health to handle, to be honest. I had a breakdown on wednesday when it happened and the last few days it was actually the same. I just don't know what to do anymore. Yes, I can finish MNF, but my plan was to finish MNF and then work on Chapter 4 so I can release it this year. Should I work on MNF ? I have no idea. I can't just recreate the characters or else I would. I know it was stupid from me to not upload at least the character files somewhere online, so I can use them. Finding and downloading the other assets is no problem... But I can't recreate the characters just like that. It's just... It's just too much for me at the moment. And the only thing I can do is wait for my lawyer to do his job.

My move is more or less done now and I'm in the new apartment, and what was planned to be a new start to a better life quickly became the literal worst days of my life so far. And as the saying says, it can always get worse. I just hope I reached rock bottom and now it's time to climb back up...

Hello there you super cute and extremely sexy people!

Another week, another progress update!

Not much to share regardng the case since there was no way the state attorney would answer within a few days. So, it's still waiting on this whole stuff. But I have some other things to share that are not directly game related.

As I said in a few previous posts, I set a deadline for myself regarding this stuff. It has been over 4 months now ( It will be 5 months ) where I basically was crippled regarding my work on My New Memories. Since My New Memories Chapter 4 was supposed to be out already and I only did a lot of script writing, I will start pausing pledges on January 31st. I will keep those pledges paused for at least 2 months but will most likely do it for 3 months or longer, I'm not one hundred percent sure yet. Nothing will change regarding your benefits or my work, though, I will continue to work on the games and will post lewd renders every week, progress updates every monday and if you are a Anna or higher tier supporter, you can still request your custom arts for MNF etc. What I said last year will also be still effective so if you were a previous supporter you will get beta access etc as soon as I have my stuff back. I know that many of you guys asked me to not do this, since I keep working and "should be paid for it", but this is more of a personal thing for me now. Like I said, I'm not going to rest or anything, this is just a thing for my mental health because I'm really starting to feel bad with not providing the content I want to provide due circumstances I don't have any power over. And please don't worry about my financial situation, I will be fine and everything I have to pay is taken care off ( this includes legal fees for my lawyer if the case is eventually done etc ). I appreciate all of you amazing people sending me your concerns etc though, that means a lot to me as a person.

Okay, let's talk about the games. After I told you guys about my thoughts regarding a My New Memories prequel to build a bridge to the current chapter ( and as something to do while I'm basically stripped off my assets ), I really didn't expect so many of you amazing people to like this idea. So... It's a thing now. There will be a My New Memories prequel. I don't have a name for it yet, but it will release sooner than later. I already finished 3 of the girls you will meet and only have to do two more to have the main cast finished. Keep in mind that not all of them will appear in the main game, but the "Main characters" will at some point in time. I will post all the girls I created once I have them done, which is sometimes this week. The prequel will play during the early college days/weeks of the MC, where he lives with Sabrina and Bethany ( Jessica will be on a vacation or something to explain why she isn' there ). This will be before the MC met Anna again, and since Bethany mentioned in the main game he had girlfriends before you can probably imagine where this will go. It will be a smaller cast but you can still expect a lot of variety - and at least two very cute gingers ( one around the mcs age and her mother being a very attractive milf ). You will learn a lot about the character traits of the MC and his backstory in general, something that I think is actually cool since we don't know much about him in the main game ( thanks to the amnesia ). So, this will also help you to learn more about the MC and it will 100% bring you more joy once Chapter 4 for the main game releases. I aim the prequel to be between 1.5 and 3 hours long, so a regular My New Memories update, I guess. It's going to be a one time thing so in the end, it will be a completed game. I was also able to do more script work for Chapter 4, totalling up to 6500 lines of code now. I have started to work on a cute Sabrina event that will happen on the second day. I think I mentioned this before, but with Anna being awake Sabrina might start to feel a little insecure, at least when you decided to continue your relationship with her. It will be pretty wholesome to see her like that, especially with the MC quickly reassuring her that there is nothing to worry about and that their relationship will continue to grow and get more intimate as well. And let's be honest, as if Anna would let him love Sabrina any less than he loves her, especially since Anna loves Sabrina just as much. Like I said a few times, Chapter 4 is all about healing and being cute and wholesome since there won't be any threats to make the MC worry or feel anxious anymore. It's what I can do best after all, I think.
