We are in the need of devs if it wasn't know from the bold letters from our OP!
So, if anyone wants to help out on the github, even vibecode if you cannot be asked, the barrier to entry is quite low!

We have a small set of rules with PR's that anyone should be able to comply with listed here:

Getting some small bugs fixed or even a linux specific dev would be greatly helpful!

Someone to take a peek at the LewdCorner downloader support and LewdCorner user tier right would be amazing (we want to check if the user account the user holds got access to plus content before un-hiding said content)
I popped an ad for your thread in the thread:

Just stumbled into this for the first time. This looks fantastic! Can't wait to try it when I get the chance!

just to correct the above statement........................
they didn't just stumble into this.
honesty is the best policy.

Small little announcement directly for LC content in the client!
We limited the browse mode FOR NOW. Browse mode will not be able to see Games+ and AI Games+ content.
Hate to ping for an update, but is there any news on this? I know I can manually add games, but you guys made Atlas so good that I've become too lazy to do it myself.

I was getting the message in accounts autentication:
“Secure credential storage is unavailable on this system, so accounts cannot be stored safely.”

I'm running Atlas as an AppImage on Arch Linux with GNOME Keyring installed and running. I verified that gnome-keyring-daemon was active and that org.freedesktop.secrets was available through D-Bus.

The issue was resolved by explicitly telling Electron to use GNOME Libsecret when launching Atlas:

./atlas.appimage --password-store=gnome-libsecret

After launching it with that flag, secure credential storage works correctly and the warning no longer appears.

So it seems Electron/Chromium wasn't automatically detecting or selecting the GNOME Libsecret backend on my system.

And thanks! The program turned out great. Everything works as far as I've tested it.

Yeah, a bit of pushback on that sadly. Im personally not in a good mood about it at all.
We had a PR to fix all of that but it was denied by tower.... i do not understand the logic at all in anyway and it has soured the entire thing for me.

This was planned (to add it i mean) from the start with plenty of leeway to make it right without any drama.

We do have a fork that adds this feature still though

I do hope this changes in the end as it gets added into the client for real one way or another.

Sad to hear, hopefully it does get pushed to main eventually as Atlas truly is a great program. Thanks for the link to the fork, will check it out later.

I'm sorry if this is a repeat question, I'd like to try Atlas, but how much control would I have over the collection? As I understand it, there's automated synchronization, but what happens if a thread is deleted? How much would change without my consent or knowledge?

Not a dev but been using it long enough to answer this one.

It gives you complete local control. Downloading the game puts it on your drive for good. Syncing is just used to spot new additions and display game pics. Even if a host page disappears, your game files and cached pics remain untouched. Nothing ever gets deleted through Atlas unless you explicitly trigger and confirm it yourself.

Nice, thanks!

Hey, first of all, thanks to @CuddleBear for keeping an eye on things and to @towerwatchman. for his work. I'm taking a look at the project, and it looks very polished and promising.

I ran into a few problems trying to set up my library for the first time, and I really found it to be unintuitive.

First, I logged into my F95 and LC accounts and moved all my games to the Default Game Folder to get everything ready, so I tried to add the first game, Love is Undead (not a game in the M+ section), and...

I had already downloaded the game and placed it in the Atlas folder, but I couldn't figure out how to add it to my library. The only option Atlas gave me to add it was to download it, so I added the game manually using the existing folder, and Atlas duplicated the folder.

I have a lot of games on my to-play list that I don't want to download right away, so I'd like to be able to add them to my collection (to the collection in its own “to-play” section, not the wishlist) without having to download them.

I ended up on this thread because I showed someone my infamous...
... listing all the games I've played and still have to play, and they recommended me Atlas.

Maybe I'm just too dumb to understand how it works, but this seems like a great project to me. I guess I'll start using it once it's easier to add a game and there's support for the Games+ section.

Sorry for the long post, and once again, thank you for your work on the project. I hope it continues to improve.

So a bit of correction to the reply made on this.
The AtlasDB server scrapes from F95 and LC on its own and other sources and even if a thread or any data is deleted from the source sites, that data is still available in AtlasDB which syncs down to the clients as tiny update files that is processed and stored locally.
Once you have those tiny update files for the day then its all local outside of the image files which you can optionally download instead of stream.
So you are fully local in the end and you can rebuild it all or do pure manual input if you wanted aswell.

Since AtlasDB is not a part of F95 or LC then we can add titles and entries that neither of them might have.

I had already downloaded the game and placed it in the Atlas folder, but I couldn't figure out how to add it to my library. The only option Atlas gave me to add it was to download it, so I added the game manually using the existing folder, and Atlas duplicated the folder.
So there is a small arrow next to the download button that expands out to the manual install in the detailed page of any title.
You could always just use the add game button and import it that way if you wanted aswell.

As for not downloading and installing it all, there is a wishlist feature in the browse mode but that only works in the browse mode so Games+ won't currently work with the official build.

And you can add playstates to titles and versions of titles if you want..... though right now you cannot add playstated to titles you do not have installed. Not really accounted for that.

As for Games+ it is supported, you can install any title from Games+ but currently in the official build they are not listed in the browse mode.
Im trying to get this changed but tower has been busy recently and have not been online.

As for the missing images, when AtlasDB last scraped that title, the image urls was broken! It has since been fixed on LC which is great.... but AtlasDB has not triggered a full LC rescrape since then.
Now, the UI of LC and the website in general has changed quite a bit quite recently and needs to be accounted for.
Im guessing LC updates are not rolling out at all currently. Manual refreshes fail currently with the mention title which is not good.

thank you.
checking it out now. not much to check out until the admin approves it seems.
we all would need our own account and the scraper its own aswell probably.
Just stumbled across this thread and it looks pretty great. My "library" is kind of a mess and could use some help. Just following up on this question, is support being added for azkoselscorner.com?

This is now updated on the AtlasDB side. Errored last time i tried this the other day. Thought the whole scraping system was broken.

So image urls are not in AtlasDB, it will not make an update file for the clients on the next whole hour then push that out to the clients.
Just open the client and let it process the update file locally and it all should load in!

ohh, Awesome is there a way to import from XLibrary?

There indeed was 😁 seems like I may be using this from on.

I've been figuring stuff out like how it extracts games into a structure
{creator}/{title}/{version}
from the settings and it's actually how I usually extract them myself, and I use the same structure for the downloaded compressed file
usually it looks like this on both for me:

G:/Files/HG/Compressed/Creator/Title/Version

D:/Files/HG/Games/Creator/Title/Version

so I would like if there was the same setting for the downloaded, don't know if that's possible

and I've manage to get Sandboxie-plus to work using the emulators section haven't tested much using it, but the benefit of that for me is that it stores all the save's in to a separate folder from everything, so I can easily find and backup the save's to the correct folder, like:

C:\Sandbox\User\DefaultBox\drive\D\Files\H\Game/Creator/Title/Version
C:\Sandbox\User\DefaultBox\user\current\AppData Folders/Creator/Title/Version

native sandboxie support would be great
and a optional overlay in bowser so you don't have to right click on the page or click the extension to wishlist the game, like what XLibrary has in the bottom right.
and a way to sort by "Date added"/"recently added"

other then that it's great, it's very smooth and I like that you can customize the appearance of the banner's and add whatever info you want it to show on the banner very handy
