Not getting notifications since recent UI change

I'm not getting any notifications since the recent UI update. I don't know why we got another UI update, isn't that like 4-5 in the past year alone? Also not sure why notifications get broken with each UI change, but that's a really important function of the site.

I'm new here so I can't really talk about past experiences, but now my default pfp is all messed up lol.

Thanks for reacting to my post so then I noticed you replied. Notifications getting broken every few months is so fucking annoying
