til you realize that most of the current theme is having major issues that i have been trying to fix.

That actually helps a lot to know this. I feel like a lot of people here are just not aware of that very important detail. And if you've said it somewhere, I've definitely missed it. So sorry for being a bit critical. I've just been around a little while now and seen a lot of changes that seem like they are change for the sake of change. It's nice to know that's not always the reason.

I prefer the top menu, unless we can have the side menu show up after we hover or click a toggle, kind of how it works on mobile/tablet in some themes. but for it to take that much space all the time is not practical in my opinion.

Also agree with the opinion that the color scheme might not be the best. I understand it has connections to the logo, but that red-ish color is not great when the background is so dark.

Nice will there be a user's section with our bookmarks, favorites or will we still have to click on our profil on the top right ?

Well I don't know how much other like to bookmarks, it's just to shorten the "profile ➜ bookmark ➜ show all" process, so if it's too annoying never mind,
But I do like to have my played WIP games marked so as long as the bookmark function all is good.
