I might be totally missing something, but is there a way to force Atlas to recognize a game from inside the import menu? I had an issue with the game Succubus Trick: A Grown Up Problem. When I used the import feature, it "recognized" the game as SUCCUBUST, which is from a completely different developer. Even the drop down menu that appears under database match only gave me an option between SUCCUBUST and Succubus, neither of which were the correct game. I tried changing the name of the folder itself to make it more clear what the game title was, but this did not help at all. I ended up having to find the game's F95 ID, then place the game inside of a folder named after the ID. Only then did it finally recognize the game.

It makes me wish for some way to force Atlas itself to database match a game if I already know what it is. Similarly, I wish that changing the titles for games while inside the import menu would allow you to "refresh" the database match, instead of having to close the menu, change the name of the folder itself, then open it back up. Maybe that's what the update matches button is supposed to do, but it never worked that way for me.

i think thats for all games that are not available on F95 because that seems to be its primary source. had the same problem with violated princess.

I thought that initially too, cause I've downloaded games from wherever, so I don't mind manually inputting info about the games that don't show up on F95. However, the game I mentioned is on F95, which is where I downloaded it from. That's the only way I able to get the F95 ID that eventually got Atlas to recognize it.

does not work for me. when i click install in the browse page, i only get the option to import via folder or archive or open the update page.
have my lewdcorner and F95 accounts linked. pixeldrain and mega options are available on the games page

any title specifically? I had a couple that didnt work well, reported them along. we need more examples of threads and titles that fails with the download system so we can patch out the issues.

Yeah, usually just adding the ID field is what i do aswell. It should have given you the dropdown though.

I'll definitely try and check out the Discord if I find I have more to say! Admittedly, I usually stay away from Discord, not for any particular reason, just preference, but I know it's a little easier to keep track of things there.

I am curious what you mean when you say you add the ID field? Do you mean you do what I did and change the actual folder title to the ID? Or do you just add the ID into the text box inside the import menu? Because adding the ID into the text box from within the import menu itself did not do anything for me, even when I clicked the "Update Matches" button.

Did you press enter? You have to press enter there, then Update Matches i believe. (a bit careful with that button as it will take any potential matches that has dropdowns and just apply them all.)
At this point of the client i have stopped personally using the bulk importer because i have everything already done and singular downloads is done with the built in download feature unless its an unsupported site.
You always have the option to import singular titles by finding it in the browse mode then clicking install!

In the end the bulk importer works better when you have more info to give it. Like the creator string and so on.
Important to set the scanner scheme correctly before scanning the folder so atleast the title, creator and version is filled out.
There is importers for F95Checker, XLib and the bulk scanner supports Game-List ini files aswell so plenty of options to import flawlessly.
Some structure is needed though.

In the end i cannot comment too much without knowing the extract path of said title and how its laid out.

Oh my gosh, yeah that was literally it. I didn't even have to click the Update Matches button, I just hit enter and it instantly recognized the game I used as an example when given the F95 ID. I feel a little silly not trying that before, but maybe there could be a prompt somewhere to make that clear? A lot of text boxes in software will auto-update and not require a key prompt to actually update, so I guess I was just used to that. Still my fault for somehow missing it though.

Please take care when matching, to not have the wrong id in them. when making a correction there has been a few bugs where say an LC ID is not cleared out if the F95 ID is corrected and dont have a LC title for example.

Can't say bulk importing was difficult at all for me with 5k titles but all of mine had Game-List ini files that listed all the f95 ids so it was always a flawless match.

When titles have an AtlasDB ID it should just conform with that in the end.
note that there is som db audit tools in the settings that might be helpful too.

Well to trigger a download you just need to click that install button. This shows up for any title you do not have installed. The update button if the client believes its out of date will also do the same.

You then get a window to select the source if any of the available is found. There is some bugs with this but hitrate is like 99.9% good so far in my personal experience!

Once its added it gets added to the download queue for downloading and installing.



Again, this is only for titles with an F95 thread so far. LewdCorner only titles is a no go right now!
Should probably be a bit higher prio to get that working on LC though!

ok so here is what happened:
on first install btw
set the library default game folder to my archive with all my games. some were already extracted some not.
it did not show anything in the library so i clicked on
Add->atlas game importer
set the game path to the same as my library because i thought it would add everything
set it to automatically extract everything and delete the source
did it again but this time clicked on only add unmatched game but still with deleting the source files
then i got an error message saying it needed administrator rights to delete the root folder. which was my library folder so i said no
then i got another error saying import failed and all my games simply dissapeared

edit: and because not everything was importet into the library, i don't even know what i've lost

this should now be fixed!

Well v0.9.8 stable was over 2 weeks ago.
Nobody really uses stable atm. i mean you could. missing out on features and fixes though. current new stable release is in sync with the nightly release.

Well the download link just takes you to the latest stable release. You just pick the download for whatever OS you are running.
So if you are on Windows you download the windows release. (The .exe)
