I dont know, but I know I HATE MTL so I rate human translations much higher. I feel like too many people are using MTL and passing it off as human-done and shit like that might cause the legit translators to give up. Especially if they rely on donations and the few that do donate are mostly donating to the MTL guys instead. Although... I have seen a few games that were obviously MTL, but were semi decent. I wasnt sure if they were human-fixed, or if they just used a better AI to translate it.
Im not a fan of NTR shit. And it was taking over games that I enjoyed. Users would come into the games thread begging for the MC to get cucked and all of his girls to get fucked by every other male in the game. But then it got worse, and they would start offering the devs money to add cuck shit, and that pissed me off. So I ended up leaving Cuck95 to come here and became staff. Jack decided he hated me and made tags MY task. Fixing tags (all of them), including the NTR tag, which tons of people complained about. There are like 30 different arguments about it but the main thing is that NTR means something different to everyone. I created a thread trying to get the average users idea to help fix the tags.... and my fucking head exploded. None of us could agree on a single thing. And at one point everyone was coming in explaining what NTR ACTUALLY meant. Some of it was pretty obvious, but some of them were pretty crazy. So as a smartass I decided to create the "What I think NTR means" in my signature. It starts out mostly serious, and then... I went all out. Half making fun of the cucks, half making fun of the radical fringe part of the anti-NTR people. Just because it was fun.

So... again. NTR means something different to almost everyone. And no matter what I say it means, someone will come say I am wrong, which is why I stopped trying to fix those tags. Let it burn. Basically, the japanese version means something kinda like "to be stolen from sexually". So having someone that is "yours" be taken. Kinda. Sorta. Having your wife cheat on you is often seen as NTR. But there are 3 diff words in japanese that fit into NTR. Netorare, Netori, Netorase. From what I know, they have to do with the feeling you have about it. If someone steals from you and it hurts, it is Netorare, if you steal from someone else and it hurts, its Netori, if you... allow others to steal from you or you share, it is Netorase. - Again... these are my ideas based on being told by thousands of people what it means. Playing a male MC who gets off on that shit just makes me feel like I am driving a mentally ill person around to force them off a cliff. It just feels.. sick. The idea of someone fucking your wife/gf is just gross. But... as most people will admit, the idea of fucking someone elses wife/gf isnt all that bad. And then there are different degrees of it. Even on "my side" (the anti-NTR) there are levels. Some believe that even having another man in the game is NTR. No man should be able to see your LI. Male cashier? NTR!!! CUCK!!!. You talked to a girl at the beach, and you as the player thought she was cute, and you wanted your character to fuck her and then she said she had a bf so that is NTR? - This is where it started getting crazy. Some people went toooooooo far with it. I even got called "a female cuck" (keep in mind I am a dude, born with a dick and still have it) because I didn't feel that your LI having sexual interactions with another girl that you were aware of as NTR. The example was in a incest harem game called Sisterly Lust. In the harem route, you sometimes walk into a room and see one of your sister muff diving the other. Or one will be fucking your mother with a strapon. MC was aware of it, and MC made it clear he was cool with it. So I didn't see that as NTR. But... as I found out with some deep introspection and discussions with others, it was the "I don't see a girl as threat". And yes, I know that is sexist (dont give any fucks) and probably stupid (hell, these days girls seem to think they are just fine without a man, so maybe they were more of a threat than I realized). But long story short... wait, too late for that. Its already long. Anyways, the point is I have yet to see a site that defined NTR properly and has no arguments. It is too much of a divided topic and the 2 sides will never agree, especially since the 2 sides can't even agree with themselves.
