What was your First Games Console / Computer

I have vague memories of playing a PS1 and another of playing a game boy classic. I was so young though that I couldn't tell you which one was first

I still remember when my dad brought home the og Xbox when I was a kid.

My first was a Commodore 64 with the games on old cassettes. Games were numerous and cheap back then, too, albeit a lot of them were buggy.

First Console: Atari VCS 2600 with Super Breakout and Asteroids Cartridges.
First Computer was a Commodore C64, learned Basic, Pascal, Logo and Assembler on it... (and played a lot)
:-)

Honestly not certain which was first - I was way too young to remember for sure, but I think it was a C64 with both cassette drive and floppy disk, and even a Turbo cartridge. I also had a then already old IBM PS/2 to play around with, a whopping 8 MHz Intel 8086 CPU. And just a little later a huge, heavy towering 286 as well to play all those classic games like Leisure Suit Larrys and Monkey Islands, that I still play every now and then just for the nostalgia value. Probably needless to say, I've been surrounded by all sorts of IT pretty much all my life.

Got a PS3 and Spiderman 3 for my eighth birthday.

Had an Atari [some number lost to history] which was used for Sid Meier's Pirates (and a questionable copy of the Treasure Fleet/Silver Train schedules ;))

My first PC was a few years later with a 386. Ski or Die, Wolfenstein 3D & Dune 2 were my first games on it.

Same firsts as me - though I never learned anything but Basic.

Growing up As a family we had the Sega Master System, then we got the playstation 1 when it was released. And I got the original Xbox and a Gameboy colour

do I win ??

Ha! :)
We had a PET 2001 in School, wow, that was an annoying beast! The key caps on the non-standard integrated keyboard got unreadable due to vanishing stickers on on them. Luckily i did not have to do much with it....
Yeah, you win! :D

2001 huh, i was using it 22 years before that :)

I was so young that I don't remember the exact pc but it was a HP machine with the windows xp. played the heck out of windows 3d space cadet pinball.

PS2 for me...... everything was so much simpler back then - you just played what you had, if not, tough luck. And somehow that gave so much more value to everything, or maybe that's just nostalgia.
