Ive tried... the translations for the few I tried were just horrible. Like the one for... I think its called "Im a spider, so what?". The translation of that was harsh. Or maybe that is just the format? It was just painful to read. I read a lot of manga, usually decently translated, and lately (last ~2 years) webcomics manhwa (I avoid the fuck out of the chinese shit for reasons I wont go into here. Just some really really fucking annoying things, although sometimes the same are found in the korean ones too).

Its... a lot of things. I dont have it anymore, but I once made a keyword list of "NOPE" stuff. And I could never quite explain what icked me out about it.

Cultivate, murim, heavenly, demonic, sect, clan, martial, immortal, venerable, ancestor, chi, qi, spiritual, _____ master, elder, senior, orthodox, rightous, demon (this one was iffy), 1000, "ten thousand", myriad, and I think I had like 20 others that I cant remember right now because its 2am and my sleep meds are kicking in. But mostly these just hinted at the things that would annoy the fuck out of me.

1: Second sister told me to ask third brother if fifth sister was coming home. This... triggers me. This whole numbering of people.
2: (I admit I had AI help me create this): Could Junior Administrative Clerk Wang please notify Acting Deputy Assistant Team Leader Zhang that First Deputy Assistant Section Director Li of the Third Regional Administrative Headquarters' Second Internal Affairs Department's Fourth Subdivision's Seventh Auxiliary Coordination Office has been summoned by Senior Associate Vice Director Chen of the Eastern Provincial Administrative Coordination Bureau's Third Regional Oversight Committee and therefore requires Acting Deputy Assistant Team Leader Zhang's presence at once. - This is like... normal in most of the china comics I read. These massive long titles that they MUST use every time. There would be times when the persons title was used 3 times in a row in the same speech bubble, and when the title is 13 words long... what in the fuck?
3: This really odd usage of this murim thing that is so consistent that it almost feels like some brainwashed childhood engrained belief that they are all forced to study and know about. It just felt sorta cultish. And by cult, I mean the type of brainwashing make you kill yourself type of cult we have here in the Muricas. I know/think the asian usage of the word cult might have different meanings.

There are a few others, but again, 3am and brain not working well. But these things just annoyed the shit out of me and eventually made me close whatever it was I was reading. I eventually realized it was better to just avoid them in the first place. Occasionally I find a korean comic that digs deep into these, and sometimes I end up dropping those too. Luckily, some of those just have a chinese/murim arc and it is short and then over. Same with the Qi thing. Some dig deep into it, and that might be a sign I should back away slowly, but some just touch on it occasionally and I can stomach that.

I was a bit doped up from my sleep meds, and chatgpt typed part of it out for me. I have used that info to help me find other comics to read, so most of it was already in a previous chat.
