Yeah, I suppose. Depending on what you qualify as a 'porn game,' it's more or less possible. Some studios like Larian have some pretty strong adult themes in their most recent title. GTA 6 will likely follow and have something similar to the last. But it's difficult to go much further. Outright 'porn' is incredibly difficult to publish; many countries would restrict the sale of the game if it went any further. It's difficult to imagine that these studios would take such a risk and significant financial loss for something that isn't likely to bring in nearly enough revenue to offset the cost.Never. That takes real money, not the thousands, but tens of thousands, hundreds, millions. Credit card companies cave super fast to even mild moral panic.

That's certainly part of it. Although they tend to target games with more 'disturbing' or 'risky' content. Depends on the advocacy group. But yeah, having visible penetration will likely evoke some ire from some of them. It's unfortunate that there aren't legal protections granted to distributors of legal content. But the credit card companies don't want the reputational risk, let alone the small possibility of legal trouble. They stand to lose so little by just ceasing processing, yet the potential news stories and interviews by these rights orgs stand to be so much more detrimental. Hopefully some legislation is introduced to offer protections!Pretty much anything with any actual visible penetration will most likely get shut down hard by the Rights orgs, who for some reason have sway over the credit card companies. Still have zerp clue as to how they have so much pull, some of these orgs.

AAA is a classification based on game's budget
There aren't even any big-budget movies in the porn industry, let alone games.
I also think this is the general direction. Getting more and more heat by governments.I actually think that porn games will get more censorship as time goes by. I don't want it to be true... but since when have our leaders and law enforcement come to us with GOOD news on that front?
