Android or PC for Games?

There are many great games that can really only be experienced on PC. Or are made for PC that you'll miss out if you exclusively play Android. That isn't the case for Android. You can play any APK on pc through a port of some workaround. Although, some games are better designed to function on android. Although rare, I have seen some mobile UI games that are superior on mobile. There are a few games that use an SMS themed UI, so an argument that it's more immersive for those games could be made. You'll have the vertical view look natural on many smartphones. While on PC it will be black bars or desktop space on the sides.

I gotta say I enjoy PC a lot more just for the versatility and I feel like I have more access to the device as well, though I do find it nice being able to just pull out a phone and play a game sometimes rather than dealing with a large computer.

Android sounds fun for a phone game, especially, but I'm super paranoid about running any custom APK on my phone.
I know this isn't viable for everyone but personally I just used an older phone to use so it wouldn't be the end of the world if something happened to it or I had to factory reset it.

You guys are actually super right. Yeah, that's true. Especially if you're going to lie in bed or are away from your PC for an extended time for whatever reason. Also, many modern smartphones have OLED panels and much higher pixel density than what most people are going to see with a monitor. Having a pocket-sized device with an incredible display might take the games you're playing to the next level.

Fair enough. I used to have an extra but my main phone broken, so it's down to just the one. I neeeedz it.

Just FYI, google is moving to block the installation of unverified apps, starting in september and continuing up until 2027. So... no more porn+ games on your phone unless the dev is actively suicidal.

Of course, a PC. A large monitor, a comfortable keyboard, a mouse, and finally, you can connect several hard drives at once, bringing the volume to tens of terabytes - a volume that is currently unthinkable for Android devices. I built all my PCs with my own hands, to suit my needs, in this sense, a PC is really a personal computer, and not a piece of consumer electronics like smartphones, tablets or televisions. Again, freedom of choice of the operating system - if you don't like Windows, install any of the Linux and Free BSD distributions you like, etc.

PC 200% ...unless you're going away. In that case: Laptop, Tablet, maybe SteamDeck? (anyone tried this?)
But if a phone is your only option: pick a suitable game (e.g. Degrees of Lewdity)

PC all the way. Games are always more fun on a bigger screen, and there's little risk of accidentally dropping your computer, unlike with a phone.

I definitely prefer the PC, although I've noticed that more casual gamers tend to prefer Android on tablets or mobile devices, I guess for the same reason that a lot of folk with families or gf's prefer to use their phones to watch porn.
