I had a hand-me-down C64 growing up. I really got into the early ADnD games. Pool of Radiance and Curse of the Azure Bonds.

A significant gaming milestone was, later on, when my friends and I discovered the synergy between weed and gaming while playing the original Tomb Raider on the PS1(?). Good times

Any free game I could find, I played. So a lot of flash games.

Though I also had a ps1 with a bunch of games. Twisted Metal, Gran Turismo, NFS Hot Pursuit. On PC side I had red alert, generals, and warcraft 3.

I wasn't deep into gaming yet by that point though. I got deep into gaming after getting the Orange Box. The games in that collection blew my mind. In Half Life 2 i'd spend hours just messing with the physics. I spent hours picking stuff up and throwing objects. TF2 was/is the most fun multiplayer game i've played. And portal was the most innovative puzzle game i've played.

the first game i ever played was an old arcade version of asteriod. i remember watching my uncle play lots of super mario, but it wasn't until years later that i picked out a random playstation game from a bargain bin for my parents to buy. it turned out to be metal gear solid. that was my first real experience actually getting enthralled and transported into a new world with games. imo, i couldn't have gotten luckier with that random game snag.
had to be skyrim for me, then the mods lol

super mario 64 of course, but oblivion made me fall in love with games

We had an NES in the living room. I was so young I don't remember what would've been my first game, but I like to think it was Super Mario Bros. But there's a distinct possibility that I started my gaming journey with something that would later get torn apart in an AVGN episode.

Mine was probably 'Big Fish Eat Small Fish' (Feeding Frenzy) when I was like five or six, playing it on a laptop.

Minecraft, after watching youtube. My brother helped me install a pirated copy on a shitty laptop that barerly able to run 1.9

Definitely Apex legends, my friend forced me to install it when I first got my laptop all those years ago

Got to agree. First venture into gaming was pencil and paper ADnD. 3rd edition just threw me off and now into 6th edition, it just seems like it has gotten rediculous. But I understand that everyone's game is different and have different wants. I just don't think you should be able to roll up a character that can challenge bahamut or tiamat or any other gods for that matter. But it's really just a personal preference.

ADnD was my first foray into gaming but on the digital world it was mario and duck hunt on the Nintendo and super Nintendo. Then Sonic on the Sega Genisis. Have since graduated to 100s of games across the life span. Loved the Elder scrolls games, Morrowind and skyrim in particular. RDR and RDR2 were great. Elite Dangerous was my first love of space Sim games. Need for Speed Underground 2 got me into racing games. Call of Duty World at War got me into zombie shooters and gave me the thrill I used to get on Day of Defeat. Been a wild ride so far.

Robin Hood Legend of Sherwood. My dad had a demo when I was a kid. I played the heck out of the demo. Later as a tween I pirated it and played it a lot.

Metal Slug on arcades. I don't remember exactly which one, but I think it started in Egypt. I used to go to the arcade after school with my friends, and that was my favorite game.

I remember my first gaming experience... I was about 3ish and playing on a Nintendo, my brother had a save of FF1... I didn't understand so I created a new game and played. It was only later on I learned I had deleted his save. That being said, I would spend hours looking at the guide with all the cool art while he played the game and I watched.

The earliest memory I can recall is when I always watched my uncle and dad play games like PVZ, Stronghold Crusaders, etc. For mobile games it's angry birds and some bootleg minecraft. Arcade games also played a role, games such as Animal Kaiser and arcade shooter games has been some of my favorites. Lastly, I played some console games with my friends such as Bully, GTA SA, God of War, Resident Evil, Downhill, etc. That's all the games I can recall

The first game I ever played was Yoshi's island, but the games that really got me into gaming were the original Silent Hill games for the PS and PS2, and the Metal Gear series, also for those consoles.

Morrowind got me into gaming, it was a wonderful and beautiful game. I cannot wait for the Skywind remake mod.

for me it was Snakes on my cousin's first Nokia phone and the format has captivated me and evolved ever since
