I downloaded the Win version from GoFile and had no issues with any of the first several dozen images that I clicked through.

Is there any change in how the top and bottom of the images are misaligned if you resize the window?

The user didn't respond to that, which suggests two three possibilities.

1) Either he gave up on the game.

2) He spent so much time fiddling with the resolution and / or window size settings until he found a solution - and that's why he stopped replying.

Or third a possibility - though not to be taken entirely seriously - is that... he died.
In any case, that was his first and last post in this forum, and it dates from April 29, 2026. ( R.I.P. - JIC)

Give it a try and let me know - you've got me curious.

I downloaded the Win version from GoFile. I have the same problem with the game "Sandra". Expanding to full screen does not solve the problem.

There's nothing to be found in this game thread either - no complaints about this issue.
I don't know what else to suggest to you besides changing your screen resolution or switching to window mode, because I don't even know if you're playing on a PC or a laptop.

I play on the computer. The result is the same in both windowed and full screen mode. This only happens with these two games. I downloaded Sandra from another site, but you have Black & White

Could you try downloading the ren'py SDK?

If you put the game directory in the same folder as 'the question' (renpy's tutorial project) and run the sdk launcher, you'll be able to run the game with the most up to date ren'py version that exists, which may solve the issue you have, because it sounds less like a bug in the game and more like a bug in ren'py (which may already be fixed)

Believe it or not, I heard from a friend that there are actually people here who report posts like that, and then the mods take notice of the people who write them and keep an eye on them.
And if that happens often enough, you could even get banned for spamming.
