I don't know many personally but has to be Archgoat for me. Hearing raw (blackened) death metal with moaning women and people getting whipped is something I'd never think I'd enjoy! Great lyrics too; here is alittle snippit from one song:

Hell yeah it is! I liked "Death Walks Behind You" also even though it didn't really have the humor that "Blessed is the Black" had but production was a little better.

Don't think I ever gave that a listen since this isn't really my cup of tea. I guess W.A.S.P. (early atleast) deserves a mention in this thread aswell.

I'm younger then most of their early work atleast but I'm getting there. If my memory serves me right W.A.S.P. had a tour where he would rail hookers on stage whilst performing making people insanely uncomfortable (which was the point). Hellion is one of my favourites.

Let's see, that video was from '84 so I was around 12 or 13 when they shot that (depending what month it was). To be honest, I was kind of a late bloomer when it came to metal. Always liked the heavier shit for the time but never really got into metal until (don't laugh it was a long time ago) I got Master of Puppets for Xmas. After that the metal/extreme metal rabbit hole opened like a gaping sphincter. Didn't really know much about WASP until Electric Circus. Knew they existed & what the acronym stood for but never heard anything until then. 'Course I ended up buying the older shit afterwards but most of the focus at that time for me was learning about other lesser known bands of the time like Dark Angel "Darkness Descends" or Blood Feast "Kill for Pleasure", Possessed, Venom, Bathory, Kreator, Sodom, early Death, early Obituary & even more weird shit like Wehrmacht & SOD. Yeah my metal tastes are all over the fucking place lol.

Nice, maybe some Angel Witch, KAT maybe Runnning Wild? I'm a lot younger then you but I know a lot of those bands. Funny enough my "metal" journey started at a very young age (like 8/9?) listening to Metallica. However I thought that what we had downloaded was pretty much all the Metallica out there (it wasn't lol) and grew to love Metallica because of it. However lucky me, the stuff I liked and listened to was Kill 'em all up until like black album and a few songs from justice from all so I never had to endure all the horrible shit that came after. I'm not too big into Venom or Bathory (although and I know Quorthon stole a lot of riffs, the return is fucking great and OFC Blood, Fire, Death is a black metal classic). Great music tastes man! Kreator is epic btw saw them last year, they are so much better then the big 4 is nowadays.

The german punk rock band "Die Ärzte" (the doctors) had some pervy songs in the 80s.
They obiously got in big trouble for this songs, got them delisted (I don't know the proper english term for the german word) and were put on a 'black list'.
Back than it was said they were 'the band with the most delisted songs in the world'.

(They only preform in german, but I added the translated lyrics for those who are interested. They usually rhyme, but that get lost in translation)

Well punk is there to push boundries, just think of GG. Also Germany is super easy with banning shit no matter what form of media it seems. Never heard of the band though (although I don't know/listen to punk)!
