My wife knows about the games I play, in her opinion they are too dumb and boring. But that doesn't stop her from playing Sims 4 with 100GB of mods including WW and NWP.

Well, I've known a few female developers. Not many, but there are some. My guess is that if they create games like these, then they are very likely consumers of other similar games too. And if there are women like this, then surely there must be others that are only consumers and not devs. Again, probably not many, and like someone else said above, they probably avoid sharing their gender in this kind of community, but they most likely exist.
Have recently found some statistics and, in some other platforms, not sure if is the case here, the % of women playing have increased over the past years, to a 20% or something like that.
