The annoying tendency to use school as a principal setting. Not necessarily against characters of high school/university age, but having that as the main backdrop is overused. Summertime Saga is a good example of something where the MC is of that age, but the game isn't centered around, or typically completely within, the school.

College setting should be ideal for an AVN. It is full of young, but Patreon acceptable, people who are being put in a situation where they are probably on their own for the first time. The characters journey of self discovery can mirror the players exploration of the world.

Personally I see way too much furry stuff cropping up in places that it shouldn't. And by that I mean a lack of tag/label enforcement so it's mixed in with other stuff so I can't even blacklist it properly in some instances.

In my opinion, it happens like in the movies, at least for me, it's not that I've gotten tired of one theme or another, of course, I can get saturated and look for other games, but that happens to me like changing from RPG to shooter and vice versa, The problem is when they use X scenario and do it wrong or too simple.
