I think the stuff I see at almost every 2nd game is:

- Young son comes home to family after a long absence. Father out of picture, mother a hot milf, one sister adores him, the other hates him.

It is! But when the setting is so overused, you really start to pay attention to the quality, no?

I mean, if it's some unusual setting and idea, I am far more likely to forgive some stupid dialogues or visuals. If it's yet another of the same, you better be good!

That's because all the MCs are supposed to be horny 12-year olds, but the dev can't have them that young for obvious reasons.

Yeah. And I understand a number of people appreciate MC hung like a horse, but when the comparatively thin dick (as in many HS games, for example) goes almost down to his knee, it sorta breaks the immersion. Especially when used to deepthroat a girl -- I keep thinking: "oh my, it should be sticking out of the back her head by now!"

It's done to death, but I actually enjoy games where you move back home and have to familiarize yourself with everyone at work/school. I like it less when you inevitably stumble upon an insane criminal or scifi conspiracy.
