So I always use a VPN for going to this kind of website, but It's kind of a hassle to download something while on a free VPN. Do you know any that have great download speed and are secure while remaining free ?

I didn't even know free VPNs are a thing. Personally used Express, Nord and Proton. Can recommend the later 2 and they're definitley worth the cost vs benefits, that is VPNs in general

Yeah I am using proton rigth now but the free version doesn't really go big on downloading speed, at least not for a long time

omfg i thought you meant adblocker -- for free vpns, i use protonvpn but vpns are mostly useless and don't protect you from anything so there's no real point

windscribe is alright, but 10gb usage limit is lame

Since I us a Linux OS I have AirVPN. It isn't free though. But it's pretty cheap and reliable.

It protects your IP, doesn't stop you from downloading viruses but your identity is not displayed on the websites you visit

You really shouldn't trust free vpn's. They always sell off your data or worse.

What do you mean by this? There really isn't anything most sites can do with your ip address or 'identity', a free vpn is probably more dangerous than some random site.

none, if you're going to be using it daily and for useful stuff(not only bypasing download limits), then you need a paid VPN, otherwise you're just gifting your data to the VPN company

The free version of ProtonVPN does good enough for me

everyone sold your data, whether you paid or not, you're on the internet that is enough for them.
