The world settings that immediately come to mind are Medieval, Modern, and Sci-Fi with magic and technology sub-types on each of those.

My personal favorite is a Medieval Magic setting.

I was mainly curious because most pre-made assets for Daz3D are more modern themed so I was wondering to myself if it was correlation or causation for the amount of modern Daz games.

Also if there are any other world settings you like let me know.

I like low fantasy settings where magic and stuff of the sort exists, but it's rare and unusual, so it's mostly normal folks having to go through shit on their own. Also grimdark

Hard to choose but I went with Medieval magic. I've always been a fan of epic fantasy since the day I picked up a LOTR book and then the WOT series.

Modern, because I can best relate to it and therefore get more into the game. Otherwise, sci-fi is cool too.

Its really hard to beat a good epic fantasy for me, there's just something about it.

Really good options to pick from. Think my favorite is either medieval magic or modern magic, while still being happy with the others.

Oh yeah, I hadn't thought about how easy the story would be to relate to, I can see where you are coming from.

Personally I love every setting but fantasy and medieval are way to over saturated.

Ultimately, it's how well the world is done. There are great games with each of these settings, but there are also hundreds of boring, generic games with each of these settings.

Preach, but yeah really there are so many poorly made games out there, not to mention all the ones that got abandoned

Medieval Magic or Modern magic since it gives one the opportunity for fantasy girls in addition to human ones.

Fantasy, i like magic and exploring the mystical world.

Modern Magic, more exactly modern era/time gets introduced to early magic so everyone and everything is on the race for power and knowledge,
people would experiment/research/adapt, they would imitate what they know from books, and film, test the limits
countries, superpowers, government bodies would be trying to regulate the newly obtained power, see if it can be harness for war or for energy
groups or rebellions will form as people now possess innate strength

that shit epic kinda scenario

With games in general it's medieval fantasy. In games 18+ I would say it's post apocalyptic, because of the complete destruction of morals lol

I love shadowrun’s cyberpunk fantasy setting. Such a cool aesthetic.
