Hey everyone
So, work is pretty brutal sometimes and the weekend cannot come soon enough. It got me thinking...what do you get up tp when you had a rough week?
My ideal weekend would be downloading maybe 8 to 10 new games based on good ratings and try and complete as many as possible come Sunday night. Food, drinks and snacks must all be in place obviously.
If i am lucky, a "f-buddy" will come around to help me "de-stress" 😎 Doesn't happen that often though
What would be an ideal weekend for you?

Most of my weekends are kinda "ideal weekends".
I live my life as I wish (well, as much as I am capable of), so I make my weekends as I wish too. :p

Fridays I do something social with friends. Saturday I stay at home and de-stress playing games

A relaxing weekend with plenty of sleeping :D

Step 1. Start to accept things as they are
Step 9. Become unbothered by irritating things
Step 15. Achieve inner peace

Alone in the dark, in front of my computer, thinking about my life, which is nothing but rubbish, forgetting about it by playing a game, getting bored and repeating all that until Monday morning.

Not entirely... At some point you will reach the modern (mis)understanding of stoicism, but you have to overcome it and stay true to the original meaning.
Oh, and don't fall into the nihilism route either. Accepting how it is, doesn't mean you have to stop caring. ;)

Without sidetracking @BlueEyes82's thread about weekends too much... I prefer to identify as a Hedonistic Existentialist!

Playing a good game and / or watching movies with a lot of junk food. Sometimes together with friends.

Most weekends are like every other day, mostly work, sometimes free, but always on call and we only have one free day per week.
Once per month we have a free saturday and a free sunday together, we mostly use one of these to organize an orgy (depends when more girls are free) and the other one is only for us.
So an ideal weekend is one without emergencies, with weed, good mood and without stress.

That sounds amazing

Hang with my wife on the beach and string lacrosse sticks.

I will be doing this tomorrow. With the added bonus that the humpback whales are still going crazy here and I will whale watch while stringing.

Sleep and eating and watching movies or playing video games. Days off is almost never.

I'm a pretty dull person I've never even gone on vacation. I have always been a townie and lost in some book, film or video game world.

Considering where I live its more boring than Tatooine it is a pretty common thing, most young people leave this place and get the hell out of dodge. They go to the big city or they leave this state entirely.
