Every art style is can be good as long as it's not ugly/bad made imo if that makes sense

Agreed - almost every artstyle can be good; and almost every artstyle can look shit. :)

as long as it's easy on the eyes, i'm all for it.

Honestly it all depends on whether developers put effort in making renders look good. There're too many lazy devs that just use the generic presets of Daz3D or Honey Select, and the quality of some hand-drawns leave a lot to be desired. The only thing I hate is ai cg. Seriously, fuck AI cg. It looks too soulless, it's literally unwankable.

As long as the animation is smooth flowing and not chunky any art style is good.(y)

I think the challenge comes down to does the person making the game have a style that they are shooting for/ want for their game or are they just using whatever they think will be cheapest/easiest. I think the biggest problem of AI art, aside from the rampant theft problem inherent in training an AI data set, is that the vast majority of people are using it because they think it will be easy/low effort, so their games look low effort. Same, though, with a large selection of KK games or HS games, or even a lot of Daz games.

All styles is my vote too. I think the main thing for me is that the body proportions be reasonable. I'm more flexible when it's a western cartoon type style, but all others it's got to be remotely realistic. I hate the styles where everything's blown up to ridiculous proportions, like 3 foot dicks or ZZZ cup tits.

Yeah - I could never understand when I see a model who makes me ask, "How does that person even move?"

I agree completely here. Some AI art games look great in my opinion. A good, but unhelpful example being the game that shall not be named that started the current fiasco. It's all about how much care and thought was put into the final product, and the lack of that care is pretty easy to see, regardless of the tool used to create it.

3d cg is the best in my opinion, koikatsu and honey select are my favs

i think all style is good but i didn't vote for AI art, but it all depends on the art itself, i don't like the art that it is not proportion like boobs/dicks are too big it's not pleasing to the eyes

I've yet to play a game made with AI art. I don't mind playing hand-drawn/2dcg games, as it's always nice to see something new lol. The same gothic-looking girl eating the same plate of weird food gets boring after a while 🙃

Seconded, quality>style. A lot of games have more out there styles, but its still way better if its good quality, than your run of the mill 3dcg with completely trash art.

I think the interesting thing when it comes to AI art or real porn in games is,

If the game were just an erotic novel with no art at all (or a text-based game, if you prefer), would that be better or worse than with the art added in?

I'm personally not entirely sure, but I don't know that AI art has a place as it stands anywhere else.

Art style doesn't really matter as much as the game, I've played plenty of games with art that some might call amateurish or bad and liked them while there have been plenty of games that had very polished art yet very uninteresting plot and gameplay.

While I generate AI stuff personally, I find hand drawn/manga to be my preference. 3DCG can be very good, but it doesn't quite scratch that itch. Same as other people I have yet (knowingly) to play any game with AI art in it, so I can't give an opinion in it. Depends on how consistent the artstyle is, so it doesn't look like it's taken from different things, I guess?

Also depends on the ability if the creator to make a good game outside of the art itself as well, of course

The majority of the time it's hand-drawn, but I think different games have different needs. For example, if text-based games I tend to prefer real-porn just because I don't think you should put to much time in each scene while you can also add multiple variants, but that's not really art. Hand drawn can show more feeling into the art for me but then again 3Dcg when done well is really really nice.

so if you go for quantity then hand drawn may become a hassle for the artist. kinda rambling but i hope you guys get what i mean

I also think that all art styles have their advantages and, if done correctly, can look very good.
I can understand that many people don't like AI, but I think that if you use AI as an improvement tool or put a lot of work into correcting the artwork, there is a lot of potential in it.

Oh yeah, basically Seeds of Chaos seems to be in such a situation. More game comes out than the artist is able to make scenes for, thus leaving several black images to be filled in eventually. Definitely seems to be an overwhelming job. Then again things like Summertime Saga seems to be in the other section, where the a lot of the art is done but the coders take their sweet time. You're definitely right about 3D, when done right, can be quite amazing

There are a lot of excellent art styles for these type of games, however, it seems to me that Daz has sort of come out "on top" in terms of overall popularity. Not that that's a bad thing, I like both the 2d/manga style and the refined Daz style. In terms of AI, not really a fan, but I totally get why people use it. It can at times look amazing, and the time saving proposition is certainly there.
