I'm wondering how can I make money as an artist. I'm making adult art with DAZ Studio. Also, I'm very good at using AI to generate images. How do people make money in this area?
Thanks.

By making Patreon, Fanbox and such and taking comissions.
Also, I think furries tend to spend a lot on NSFW artworks. Hahahaha

Yes. Patreon bans loli, shota and everything that seems underage (even when it don't, actually. There were some instances where they stated some character was underage because of a scholl uniform, regardless of their height and breast size, but is not common).
It also bans rape (and by extent mind control), bestiality, incest and other more "taboo" (or criminal if done IRL) things.
To avoid it, people usually used Subscriber something (don't remember the name) or Fanbox, but I think Fanbox don't like 3D, only 2D (but I can be wrong, though).

Is it SubscribeStar you mean?

You first need to build a library of your work that you can use to show your talents.

Think Pixiv Fanbox are more tolerant with loli art... I know the artist Balsamique (creater of Behind the Dune game) uses it.

I've been dealing with patreon for long amount of time, alongside having... let's say lot of friends and acquaintances who have patreon.
Firstly, the body proportion thing isn't "not common"
It's actually very common for them to go after any post that doesn't have "appropriate proportions" as they operate on basis of how character looks. Not how old it actually is. All it takes is for them to notice it and you're in trouble.

There is no "to some extend mind control"
Both mind control and sleep sex are classified as rape and thus breach their rules.
Anything having animal genitalia is also technically classified as bestiality and can be in breach of their rules.
A site you're referring to is Subscribestar which is currently the best alternative.
Fanbox works too but it doesn't look kindly on 3D creators. Fanbox also has the same restrictions as patreon. Mastercard got to them. They often times ban 3D artists for their artworks being "too realistic"
Few months back Pixiv artists lost both their fanbox and pixiv pages thanks to that.

Technically speaking, you CAN use Patreon and make 3D loli art if you're incredibly smart about and and actually mask your 3D loli art under... a guise. Say you make a game with normal ladies. Except this game has like 1 scene with them. Rest is lolis that you provide with a content patch... which is the actual game you're making.
Except in public you masquerade it as a "fan patch" that you're not affiliated with.
You can also get away with making art... but not actually posting it anywhere on patreon. Instead vaguely mentioning that you released it.
Then sending people to your twitter that has the same name. Some website you own, your discord etc.

It can work. However, you got to take this in mind: The moment you start making NSFW stuff and your account gets flagged as NSFW, Patreon WILL request your ACTUAL IDENTIFICATION. As in sending your actual ID, residence permit or driver's license. With photo attached, name etc. So they actually confirm that you're an adult. If your country is not fine with you making lolis and patreon busts you, there is an offchance you may get reported to authorities.

You wanna make taboo art? Then open up Substar, Fanbox, maybe even Boosty and heavily post on every single site you can. Every 3D site that allows 3D lolis, every single site that allows younger looking characters.
Hell, do some adults too and link your accounts to those posts so people may find you. Do everything you can to market yourself and you'll make a good living off it if your art doesn't suck.
