discussion Ugly Bastards: What do you think about them?

Yup, I know this is a controversial thing to write about but I'm curious... what do you guys think about the infamous ugly bastard characters that plague H games?

Me personally, I love them. There's just something about a really repulsive looking character (the ugly they are the better) having his way with a really attractive character that just completely does it for me.

That honestly has ruined so many games for me, or even worse made me pass right by them. I really don't want to roleplay as an ugly bastard.

Yup mainly H games but now you mention it, I don't think I've seen a western game with an ugly bastard character (MCs or side characters) to be honest.

I agree with OPs view. It's something about the dynamic of ugly bastard and beautiful woman. Something like opposites attract. Black and white, Ying and Yang. I just don't want the ugly fatty taking up most of the screen and blocking the view of the woman.

I prefer not to have it, I don't need a need an Adonis just an average looks is fine.
I tend skip VN with them unless it plays into the story in a good way. Similar to how What? Why Games does with their Power Vacuum game, the ugly guy is essentially to push the story forward and for the MC to advance with the LI in the game.

Since i'm not a fan of males i dont see much difference, male is male and in my eyes there are only very few who look halfway acceptable...at least as long as they wear clothes.

Being ugly am fine with ugly. Not fine with ugly if ugly because proportions are not natural. Character that looks unnatural automatically is ugly.
