Again, I have no clue what themes are or what you're saying. Barring alerts, my profile is right out of the box. The way I understood what you said is that = Theme can fuck up Latest Updates. I might be wrong.

You're correct. But it's just a little more complicated than that.

When a new theme is created, it doesn't have all the addons hooked up properly with it. Even worse, sometimes the addons with its own codes is only saved on the older themes while we need to fix it up for the newer themes. Which is the Dev's job to fix up. There's several things to do to make it work properly than just this.

In other words, think of it like... Hooking the cables/wires to colored batteries. We just need to make sure the wires don't cross each other and burn the core aka the site while we plug it in.

Right now, it's on the Devs to fix stuff up as it's what we're paying them. Not everything can be made overnight.

I have said some things about "this subject" in different places before, and to different people before. Let them. Long as everyone remain respectful, we can accept opinions. If it had turned into a direct insult, would be a different matter. The best thing about a public thread is that we can review everyone's opinion as a whole if there need to be a change. That's something I don't want to see get taken away from LC and why I say to let them have their opinions.

The game titles in the Latest Update section get cut off way to early with a ... . In the regular forums the games section, which is what I'm used to using, has the actual names. Being forced over to the Latest Updates page, right now every game on the first page except 1 ends in a ... . 1 has the tags pushing down to cover the game title... which gets cut off at the end of the first word which is only 10 characters. Looks awful, kinda makes me not wanna use this site if the latest update sorting option was arbitrarily removed from the regular forums and the dedicated latest update section randomly uses different(worse) formatting than the section I used to use.
As a side note, it's a bit odd that mousing over a game shows 1/x, where x is the number of images the game has in its post, but you can't actually change images without going to the game page. I'm not saying we should be able to scroll through images without going to the games page, it just seems like unnecessary visual clutter.

I think this is the reason for some, if not many, but that is just a guess.

Also, I do know that there are people that don't even know what a "theme" is, don't know that there actually are "different themes", that people can actually chose "
different ones", and/or what "themes do", "where to change them", and/or "how to do that".

So, when "things" like "theme changes" happen, and/or there are "new options", without a "general type of notice" that "includes details and instructions", people will always have "issues" with things like all of this. (I know there are people, because I "was" one of them).

So, I think if those things were in place "before a change", you all would not have to do "all of this"...

I understand what you are saying, and I really wish I could believe that was/is the case, but the way I see what they said, is as an "insult" and very "disrespectful". That is why I said something.

I agree, it "can be" very informative and very helpful!

But ONLY If they are asking questions that have not been answered already, giving "information" and/or "opinions", and not "just complaining".

Especially when someone does this without getting the information that is already available, before "giving, and/or asking, and/or making "statements".

Especially when they simply could have found the answer to their question(s), and/or information" that proves their "statement(s)/opinion(s) wrong", just by reading something, especially when that something is as "OBVIOUS" as in the OP, and everything you did with providing the information, and as clearly as you did, in the easiest place to find the information, as well.

And I don't want that to change either.

Things like that have been very helpful for me, many times!

Nah the issue is they changed the filters and now you can't change it there to your liking. Previous there was an option for last updates and that one is gone.
Sort by last updated or something similar was an option there, which also wasn't fully correctly working as when old games got added they put the old update date there.

Honestly, I think I'm mostly ignorant when it comes to most of things on this site. For example, when I first get on, I go for the games & games+, so I just ignore everything else. Then when it comes to searching, I tend to, well I used to when I could filter games by their tags to filter whatever things I want to see in the games. I can also understand how people feel about change; it's like going to a store one day and knowing where everything was and then the next day, they completely change the layout, and it makes you freak out on the inside a little. Here's a random quote on chance: "Change is the crucible through which empires are strengthened and individuals find their purpose. It is neither the enemy nor the goal—it is the process by which we evolve. To resist change is to resist growth; to embrace it is to become the architect of one's own destiny."

If these things are still not working, go to your Account Details, in the side panel, look for Preferences, and then look for Style: at the very top. Change it to Oasis V2.

Click on your profile name in the top-right, choose "Preferences." Click on the dropdown menu next to "Style", choose "v5" (appears to be a 4:3 style?) or "OASIS V2." Press the Save button at the bottom of your screen. Give it a second to redraw everything
