Got a glimpse of the partial solar eclipse today. This and many other reasons are why I love astronomy and astrophysics. We get to peer into the astounding mechanics that drive celestial bodies in an eternal graceful dance. I hope you all feel inspired today!

Full solar eclipse in my area unfortunately had heavy overcast :(

I was in about 85% coverage and it was interesting. Next time there's an opportunity, I'm going to go into the path of totality
 
Only partial here. Found out the last time there was a total where I live was in the 15th century! Next total here is in 2079. I'd be 105 then, so I'll be dead, probably for pretty long given my health.

Got a pair of those glasses that let you look at the eclipse for free from the local public library, then sat out on the back deck with a nice cold drink and watched it all happen.
