And I always wondered if this park was some kind of easter egg or reference.
Does that mean anything to Americans or is it just a random image that designers love to use?

It's an image for a widely used 3D asset.

If you go back and look at some of the many, many games in which the original asset is used, you can see that activities take place in various locations and from different angles.

The asset is a 3d environment into which other assets like characters can be loaded, posed and rendered.

It is also Texture Heavy!! and will bring a machine to it's knees, and revert to CPU mode rendering if the GPU is short on VRAM........
