Overview:
You play as Rob, a young college student struggling to get by. His family is poor and they seem to not care about him after a strange event between his parents a few years back. Rob accepts the fact that his mother and father don’t really acknowledge him anymore and give all their love to his sister. The story picks up when Rob accepts an invitation to a poker game, where the events change his life forever.​

You mention dark themes, I don't mind that as long as there is a release before it drags on.

But I do have a couple of questions: (I don't care about spoilers, and hearing them will not cause me not to play the game, in fact knowing the broad strokes of coming events adds to my enjoyment, turning negative anticipation of *what* will happen into positive anticipation of *how* will it happen. However, I know some people don't like them so if you are worried about giving away spoilers but would still be willing to answer for me, feel free to direct message me)
1. Can we rename the MC?
2. Will it have incest?
3. Will the "death, killing, torture" happen to love interests?
4. Will the "talks of rape" happen before the story starts? For example, a girl *was* raped, she talks about it, and then the MC helps her move past it (hopefully with violent action against the guy who did it), or will girls get raped during the story with nothing the MC can do and then tell the MC after the fact?
5. And most importantly - I have a pretty strong aversion to some types of content. So, I've stopped asking about NTR and if it is avoidable, and now I ask this:

"After the game starts and a potential Love Interest is introduced, is there a moment in this game (on screen or off, or even in a flashback) were that female character has sexual contact with a character (male or female) who is not the MC? If on screen, is it forced (happens and we must watch), skippable (forced to happen, not forced to watch), or avoidable? Avoidable meaning, it does not happen at all if I, the player, don't want it to? As in, it doesn't happen without *player* consent? If off screen, is it mentioned and confirmed, or could I head canon it as not happening because it is never confirmed?"

I know this is a bit wordier than the typical, “Hey, this got NTR content?” But my questions really cut to the quick of the issue and removes the BS that sometimes comes with these conversations. If you are uncomfortable answering any of these questions in the thread, then a PM is more than welcome. Just to be clear, simple "yes or no," answers to my questions don't necessarily keep me from playing a game in-and-of themselves. I do care about context as a player, but I like to know what I'm walking into. I don't like starting a game expecting a harem (for example) only to get other guys banging love interests left and right or being forced to pick one girl by the end any more than I'd like starting a game and having random necrophilia dropped in the middle. Or starting a fantasy RPG and then getting hit with random NASCAR driving simulation content all the time. If I know about it ahead of time and know the context, that may be a different story.

I try to be as direct as possible because I have been directly lied to before by developers, not to mention all the times developers thought it would be cute to obfuscate what their game was about with half answers, or just avoid answering questions just to drum up support and then dropped things mid game that change the whole tone of the story.

Edit: Also, best of luck with your game regardless of your answers. I hope you have great success, and the models look great. Hence why I am interested in asking these questions so I can know if this is a game I would like to get invested in.

I can't answer this without giving out spoilers, this is mentioned in the opening scene of chapter 1. What I will say is there are 13 chapters planned and written for this story.

MC has a conversation with a certain character about this in chapter 1. This character will talk about her past, and what happened to those involved, and how she got past it. Once a LI is in the harem the MC will never let this type of action happen to any of his girls.

5. And most importantly - I have a pretty strong aversion to some types of content. So, I've stopped asking about NTR and if it is avoidable, and now I ask this:

There is no NTR planned for this story or any story I will ever write. Once a LI is in your harem no other male will ever have any sexual interaction with them other than the MC. It is possible that a LI will be with another LI but never without the MC once they are in the harem. I am not writing a story where every LI in the game is a virgin, but you will not see any LI with any other male character nor will you see a flashback. I can't remember if I mention anything in the later chapters' dialogs about a LI talking about others from their past, but if I did it would not be detailed at all or shown to the MC/player. I will say I play a lot of VN's and do not like seeing any form of NTR in them. I do want to set expectations that there will be at least one virgin in the game but most LI have had a sexual past of some sort.

In addition, I do not have any sort of donation plan until after a certain chapter in the game. I made this story for myself and decided I wanted to share it with others too. If a lot of people like it I may set up something in the future for donations.

It's on my end, they are in the game folder and the calls are there in the script, not sure why they didn't work. There are no error messages or anything, they just don't play.

Glad you seemed to have liked it, sorry the animations didn't work for you. I did have the game tested by several people before I released chapter 1, and did not hear anyone have that issue.

Yeah, the problem is on my end.

As for theories, there isn't a whole lot to go on, but I've got a couple of them already:
One is that the MC's dad isn't his real dad. That's why he basically cut him off and started acting differently towards him.

Another is that there are more people like the Mc and Diamond that were all born on the same day. Kind of an homage to Umbrella Academy where the people born on that day are connected or special or something, but that might be reading too much into it as I'm not sure how "odd" the things you have planned are.

Also, this is less a theory and more just my foolish hope, that Britney survives, and the MC gets over his aversion to the wincest. Incest is my top fetish. I'll play games without it if they are a harem. But it is my favorite. For me, in any media, if I don't see a body, I will always hold out a little hope that the character survives... and depending on genre I may keep the foolish hope even with a body because I've seen it happen before in game, movies, novels, and tv shows.

I wanted to share some progress with everyone this week, but I didn't have a lot to show yet since this week has been spent creating a few new locations that I teased in the last chapter like Alexis's room and Madison's boxing ring. I will wait to show those off later but I wanted to give you guys something this week. Based on some feedback I was told Rob's room needed to show more personality and make it feel like someone actually lives in there. So I added some art to the wall and wanted to share that with you all. For image one I just added a pre-made poster, image 2 has two custom images the first was made by a friend of mine, and the second is one I made just for fun. In the third image is a nod to the car Rob tells Alexis he would like to save for towards the end of chapter 2. Below that is the large images I used for the posters.
