Recently the very promising game Little Witch Academy was silently banned from here with no word from anyone until 4r33lh4rd posted a thread asking where it went. Kavinsky responded to 4r33lh4rd's inquiries with terse "don't worry about it" responses until finally admitting that it was banned because the AI art was somehow "too real". I questioned this and SeveredRealms made the issue clear as mud by adding that the girls did not look to be of "proper" age...like half the girls in half the games on this site. Since the original thread was now locked, I posted in the thread of another game with beautiful art and beautiful lewded lolis, Such a Sharp Pain (a game in which you, as the MC, can corrupt and deflower your own nine-year-old daughter, by the way) and expressed my concern that if "proper" age was now the criterion to be posted on this site, such games were soon to face the banhammer, unless the mods of this site are only prejudiced against AI art. Yoyomistro (just a member, not a mod) opined that it was likely indeed due to "legal issues" on procedurally generated art and that the site 8muses had "got[ten] into deep shit playing with that fire" with no further elaboration. So the mods are playing this very close to the vest, to the point of discouraging discussion and locking threads, but it seems there may be a low-key soft ban on AI art on this site. It makes me wonder what really happened to my AI art thread that was moved to a short-lived sister site and then supposedly lost when that host turned on us. It probably did happen that way, but now I have to wonder, since even obviously non-photorealistic, very stylized images are now considered a too-risky no-go by at least Kavinsky (who is the site owner, after all) and SeveredRealms, if not other mods. If so, this is a very sad outcome, since the future of lewd gaming, and gaming in general, probably lies in AI generation.

But why worry? When Skynet launches the nukes and all the survivors get plugged into the Matrix, we will all be living procedurally generated lives and never knowing it! One way or another, we won't be worried about whether we can fuck a loli witch with pretty pictures or not...

You mean the transplanted threads, right? Thanks, I figured that explanation was on the up-and-up, I just had a little doubt because of the LWA situation (which is the main topic here, at least as it touches on the permissibility of AI art in general in games).

That does seem indeed concerning tho... that game was AI art, but not in any way realistic, it was very clearly anime/mange-style, if something like that can get the boot, then anything can really...

Because, lets face it, those games are pretty much the main reason to be here, sure, Fuck95 sucks (tho, the reaction in this case seems very f95ish...), but its not like I have to take part to download games from there and their search system for games with is by far better then the one here.

I think it was pretty well explained in the other one but after we deleted one thread talking about it then locking down another you still keep starting threads. The game was reported we where warned we had to remove it. I said it wasn't the AI art but the girls shown.... WTF part of them being underage did you not get. WE have enough trouble with some of the loli games and keeping them from having to be removed....
WE do not need literal kiddie crap on here. We could save ourselves a whole lot of troubles and not have issues with host or payment processors and shit if we got rid of the entire sinner section but we want to keep that available to you all. But hey we remove a game like that that crosses the lines and you have a hissy fit...
Be glad you can come here and get the games you can get.. So stop bitching and stop creating threads keeping this shit going or I will start deleting more shit and giving out warnings or worse bans if you keep the subject going.
