hey
We urgently need $300! I hadn't realized how many expenses are hitting this month for servers, add-ons, and other essentials. If you can, please consider making a donation. Thank you!

That's pretty cool, and I bet cooling isn't a problem. It gives me some ideas for when I build my next system.

when using graphic programs, and when trying benchmarks it never went past 65C (R7 5700x with a RX 6650XT)
so no heat isn't a problem i have with it

you say your temps are fine, but i guess its not overclocked then, cause if your pushing it your VRM's and chipset might get toasty cause of zero airflow

this is mine;
it's a special build case (Welded it myself) to fit in an Ikea kallax cabinet (2 of the squares)

it runs at 4.0GHz as a base with a boost to 4.8 )standard is 3.4 with a boost of 4.6)
so actually yes its overclocked đŸ˜…

+Point for socketing the RAM correctly.

I ain't getting under my desk to show you pics of my Frankenputer. hehe
However I have considered doing a build like the OP...Always fascinated me. As has turning a mini-fridge into a case for overclocking the shit out of a computer. Lot of work tho, would need to have a bit of extra stuff, like dehumidifying and such.

a fridge wont work, trust me :) the output is way too low... either go custom loop like mine... and add a chiller if you rly wanna go deep :)

I figured I would have to keep the fridge's cooling ability as it's own separate circuit...the power requirements are totally different.

However adding a standard PC PSU and running the cables into the interior was the method I was going to use.
The biggest challenge is the condensation created...which would necessitate the addition of yet another device for dehumidifying and dealing with the condensation..

It isn't impossible, just would need to have a LOT of work done...

I ment to say the cooling power of a fridge is way too little to cool the heat output of a computer :)
LTT did a video about this years ago, and the results were poor.

Not surprising, tbh. I didn't research it a lot and it was an idea I had when I worked at a tech shop in the late 90s. Found out later that others have since tried it to varying degrees of success/failure.

more that it would have 0 airflow that no matter what cooling you use is needed
(unless you are going to use oil cooled but that would mean dipping your PC in litterel oil ( on the plus side it dous cool a PC decent)

beautiful setup, the truth is that it makes me want to copy you, or at least make a glass desk and put it inside, I had an idea like that a long time ago, but I don't have the tools to do it, the truth is that I congratulate you for such beauty. I do not take a picture of mine because it is full of dirt haha.
