Posted in off-topic for obvious reasons, I ended up using one of my pets for an avatar, but then I thought, why not have a post where we show off our pets anyhows?

Im so sorry to hear that, it truly was a beautiful cat Had to put down my old cat last february too, he, almost turned 19, but the most humane thing was putting him down when he completely stopped eating and everything was just shutting down :/

My cat was only 13. He started to have labored breathing so I took him into vet and had $600 worth of labs done. The results showed early kidney disease. Then a couple days later got a call that his BNP levels were pretty high. High BNP levels can indicate cardiovascular issues. Normal BNP is like 100 or less. My poor cat’s was 1500. They wanted to give him a med but weren’t sure if it would help and would cost $120 for a 2 week supply. Made the decision to put him down so he wouldn’t be struggling. He was one of those cats that liked to cuddle up at bed time. I’ve missed that
