it needs a forward slash ( Ren\'Py )
before the apostrophe (at least that's how it used to be to print as is the next digit after the \ )

Actually it is Ren'Py but more commonly just Renpy in most cases...

in some programming languages if you don't put a leading "forward slash" in front of it ( \' ) the ( ' ) wont be read or printed out properly.

as you can see in the photo in the OP "and below" the ( ' ) has been changed to its digital value of ( #039 )
