I propose setting also up "games" where members can bet against each other and play poker on site with LC Coins as the currency.

It would be safer than running a casino slots type of system which can bring all sorts of legality issues.
The thing that is at the top of my mind is the fact that any kind of casino where bought currency is used, needs to have an official gaming license - Unless the site is hosted on servers in very, very specific countries to avoid them.

What kind of games where users can play against each other while betting LC Coins would you like to play if it were possible?

I think mini games in general with LC coin rewards would help a lot with site engagement that the devs have been aiming for. Whether they do it here or on the casino site is up to them.

Blackjack would be one I'd pick since it's much simpler to comprehend than poker.

ALWAYS STAND AT 17! That's the golden rule in blackjack... I still always chose hit for some reason when I shouldn't - Just doesn't feel right if I don't. Need to get that perfect 21!

The casino was open for several hours and some users played already.
There are several games, which I don't remember all, because I didn't participate. IIRC there was roulette, blackjack and I think a slot machine...
But there was one user that played a bunch and lost 7500 LC during it, which is the equivalent of 150$ in donation money.

He made a thread about what he found out:
Lurking Lucksters League

But I don't think that a the whole casino thing is a good idea. As you already wrote, the sheer fact that REAL money can be exchanged into LC coins can will cause a whole lot of legal issues..

It drained me physically, spiritually, and financially.

Go and play next time it's active, suffer with me.

Regarding both the thread he made regarding the odds of games and strats, it only works if the system running those games has a provably fair win/loss ratio that's on par with real life casinos, - Online casino games are not really calculable due to the fact that the casino software that's used to run online casinos are pre-set to a certain % of total payout (win percentage); Online Casinos have to show publicly on their sites what that number is set to due to regulation; usually on each casino game itself; and that number is usually (at recommended casinos) around 95-98% on most games. Most people think that means if you play a slot machine that is at 96%, that if you bet often enough, you should only lose 4% of your total bets and have a chance of hitting it big on one of the spins - But! It's actually set up in a way that most people lose almost all their bets and in turn a few lucky people are able to get a lucky big win due to almost all the other users losing their bets. So almost everybody loses - few hit it big and that puts the game payback at the 96% (and the house always gets those 4% and therefore a great moneymaker)

Also about the possible legal issues, if they set up a casino that doesn't let the users play against the "house" and instead lets users play against each other in a variety of games so it's just user vs user bets, they should be fine regarding all legal issues and they'll make money to run the site from selling those LC coins since we can't withdraw those LC coins for real money. It would then be considered credits for on site purchases and not currency.

(This might not all be 100% correct, just trying to recall what I read a long time ago when researching online casinos when studying business law; so take it with a grain of salt)

The casino site I used to bet on slots shows you the statistics of all your bets from first to last bet. Total money bet for me was about 480.000 EUR (around 500k usd) and from all those bets I am currently up 1100 EUR, so I ended lucking out huge by winning juuust a tiny bit more than I lost when I decided to stop gambling. Most end up at a huge loss.

And one more thing, instead of going back and trying to win. I say that you use some of those LC coins you have to make your own "game" LC coin lottery babyyy!

But is the odds fait though? He has a point but I have no reason to doubt the odds being fair since there is little or no incentive to cheat the odds when there is no real money involved.

Wait... wouldn't that make you lose?

It can't be called a certainty that there isn't an incentive to have people lose more than they win to get people to "I'll just get a few more since I'm having fun" Ehh, it's all about perception at this point, we have to wait and see what the final setup will be to make any real judgements,

With everything needed? All back and front end code with software connected to it? (software might not be needed) Those casino setups sell for over 100k easily last I checked, never found a passable one online that has the security and all that stuff needed. I might also just suck at searching...
