I agree. since the dev announced that he would rework everything into a sandbox it was predictable that this project would never get finished. Updates got smaller and worse every time and now he is just milking his remaining supporters for a few more dollars before disappearing completely. Sadly thats the production cycle for most games here.

The word "rework" and the word "dead" truly does mean the same thing for VNs. Most of them, at least.

I give up (for now).

Hopefully in the future I'll give more information but right now I'm not in the right mental place to write the whole essay of how I got to this point, my mistakes and my reasons.

I'm not dead, and I'm not gonna throw the whole car down a mountain but I will put the handbrake indefinitely.

I want to thank Narcisa for the support both hands on and emotional, I would like to thank all of the people that believed in me and supported me, I failed you all.

Who knows maybe in a few years I'll make another game or something but for now I'll keep taking my pills, losing weight and I'll go look for a supermarket that is hiring.

Weird, it seems this game got banned from f95. I thought they were only pissy over loli stuff over there.

Just at F*95, the developer is very active, explaining in detail the reasons why he stopped working on this project (health, extremely unhealthy lifestyle). He wrote his last post last night. Links to that site cannot be given here under threat of execution, so I will limit myself to a short quote.

"I've spent the last 8 years of my life basically destroying myself, I smoked so much weed and drank so many bottles of vodka it almost killed me.
I lost weight from 126kg to 110 and I'm not intending to stop right now. I even (almost) fixed my sleep, I used to stay up 25/30/35 even 40h awake in a row, a day I would wake up at 3 am and the next at 10 am just to not go to sleep..."

I sincerely feel sorry for the developer, he made the right move by seeking psychiatric help, but this does not change my extremely negative attitude towards this VN. Although his posts explain a lot, a mentally healthy person would never have created such a disgustingly wild plot.

i smoked for 30+ years every day, i smoked joints so big that the local Jamaican Rastafarians would freak out & ask if i was going to smoke the whole thing

I smoked two joints when Bob Marley was still alive but never smoked two joints with Bob Marley.
i haven't smoked in years though

I think there's also a problem with alcohol addiction (you can earn it even if you drink one bottle of strong alcohol a day), and most importantly, problems with disrupting your daily routine and sleep problems. When I graduated from university and was working on my graduation project, I got asthenia, which I had been recovering from for two years. Everything was more modest for me - I slept 4-5 hours a day and that was enough. But 35 hours without sleep? How is he even still alive?
