Really difficult to criticise the game, clearly the dev intended this to be a sandbox and it feels like it. Just because they turned it into a somewhat linear VN in terms of mechanics does not make it so. It just looks quite weird and without the gameplay elements the dialogues just feel weird and out of place. The start of the game is quite painful to get through in it's current form and it's difficult to see how it can get better with the current mechanics in play without a rewrite of the way the game is.

Yeah, I agree. Having played the sandbox version (gruesome grind) and the vn version (stupid storytelling)... I cannot believe that the sandbox version makes more sense. That bring said, it is nice that the dev listened to the feedback! But yeah, a rewrite is necessary. I mean they can tighten everything up. Inject some more smutty dialogue and they should be good to go.
