Just wondering why people would spend LC on prestige. Is it like buying skins for a game, they dont improve the game play, simply a customization? Maybe tomorrow I will understand, been in a mild brain fog since I woke. But really can't figure out the appeal of all the prestige. And at the same time, I feel like I am missing something obvious, even after reading some threads on it. So this is mostly a request for cliff notes on Prestige for Dummies I guess.

Yes, Members+ is all you need. It gives you access to everything LC is intended to have: Games+, Comics&Stills+, Animation+ and a section to discuss all that Off-Topic+.
Everything else is fluff. Who needs or wants fluff? People who want to spend time here and might enjoy that.
Also because you don't have to pay any real money for it, why not? It's not like it's wasted coins after one bought Members+.
