• Porn: Pornographic material is not strictly banned on pixeldrain. But in order to comply with international regulations I have to prevent it from spreading too far. For this reason pornographic videos and images can be reported through the file reporting form. Once reported the file will be removed from public viewing. The IP address of the uploader will not be banned, and if the file was uploaded with an account, the owner of the file will still be able to download their files.

This does not seem to effect all games YET!! From what I understand this is new, and will probably take some time to fully effect most if not all uploads at Plexdrain...

In the case of copyright infringements, he doesn't have much choice if he doesn't want to be sued himself.

However, blocking the IP only helps if the uploader has a fixed one. Otherwise, an uninvolved person who happens to have this IP will be affected in the future.

I don't think they manually check the single files, it would take too much time. They simply hide them to the public and make them available to just the uploader, if you report them.

Someone probably just reported the game. I don't think they are checking every upload. If they are cracking down, password protected archives would work fine or just use another host

It is my favorite dl site.

Not really. Someone finds the game and password somewhere, downloads it, unpacks it and reports it.

The problem is not the operator of the download site, the problem are the users who find the downloads.
