Was thinking about making a VN but I'm torn between a story where the mom is perverted and tries to get in her innocent son's pants or a perverted son trying to get in his loving, but innocent mother's pants.

For perverted mom, I was thinking she'll slowly groom him while he's pretty apprehensive and unsure about what she's doing. Eventually she'll keep pushing her luck until she gets what she wants. I think this will only be fun if he either doesn't want this from his mommy or is so innocent that he has no idea what she's doing to him. If he wants to fuck her, then I think it gets into vanilla territory.

For perverted son, he'll try to rub one off on her any chance he can get, whether that's from doing sleep stuff or otherwise. I don't think Mom should ever enjoy what he's doing or else this gets into pretty vanilla territory, at least for my tastes. She doesn't have to hate him for it, but she shouldn't want it.

Both of these will feature a mother character who is very sweet and nurturing, though obviously the perverted one will be very forward while the innocent one will be reserved and resist complying with her perverted son's requests for lewd favors.

I'm really trying to find a way to incorporate both of these into one story though because I like the idea of both too much. I could do one first and then the other but, including the Aunties and sisters planned, there's too many characters to design if I am going for both. What do you think?

You could tell both stories in the same VN, as parallel routes the player has to chose from. At least for some scenes, the renders could be used for both paths, just with different dialogue.

Initially both stories play out separately, but once they are sufficiently advanced they meet and stuff like pervert-mom helping her pervert-nephew to talk her sister into letting him do even more, etc. This would take some hate from the "every porn game must have a single cock in it"-crowd, and "multiple protagonists" is also a tag that would turn some away.

As much as i'd like another "perverted son dominates milf" type of game, mother corrupting son seems to be way more unique and undone. I'm really fond of your second proposal, the two sisters with character paralleling archetypes is such a banger idea!

A) Pervy aunt (Anne) resents her prim-and-proper sister (Mary), maybe because their parents always told Anne to be more like Mary. Also, Anne has/had a crush on Mary. Mary marries young, probably a soldier, gets pregnant and the husband dies. Once the boy (Bob) is "old enough", Anne embarks on her campaign to groom innocent Bob and gets him to perv on his mother. Maybe by pretending its a game? Make it a series of dares that earn him points? Anne's goal (and ending) is all three in a throuple.

Variant: This could definitely accommodate Bob having a sister, Sally. I'd make Sally only slightly older than Bob, and then have Anne's crush be on Sally rather than Mary.

B) Pervy Mom (Mary) is obsessed with her perfect boy Bob, and wants to have more perfect children like him and be the ultimate mother. However, due to birth complications Mary isn't fertile anymore. Those seem like fun ideas. I also have another idea where the shota mc has a yandere aunt who really, really wants to get in his pants. If it doesn't have a decent narrative it doesn't matter, there are perverts for both versions who enjoy it, if it is going to have a narrative it depends on your ability, in my opinion I like the shota that tries to pervert the mother better, but for the writing it is more challenging , on the other hand, the mother to the shota is too cliché and easy to write, it can be done decently without much problem, but it almost certainly doesn't stand out.

Could try telling a story about two families who live next door to each other. Could allow for a tighter cast and a lot of cross-over between the two families.
Have the pervert mom help corrupt the shy mom and the pervert boy encourage the shy boy.
